Jai Wolf on Tour

Jai Wolf's transformation from bedroom EDM producer to global festival favorite all happened rather naturally. Born in Bangladesh in 1991, the man behind the moniker, Sajeeb Saha, eventually settled in New York and by 2015 had several high-profile remixes and a debut single under his belt. He's since traveled the world, scoring slots at festivals throughout North America, Europe and Asia, including Coachella, Ultra and Lollapalooza in 2017. In 2019, Jai Wolf kicked off one of his biggest tours to support his debut album, The Cure to Loneliness. He puts just as much into his live shows as his recordings, often coming up with all the stunning visuals, videos and colors that accompany his massive wall of sound.

Jai Wolf in Concert

Jai Wolf's hazy indie dance music conjures sunny days and starry nights with its warm, blissed-out melodies. The Bangladesh-born producer has always had music in his life, beginning with the traditional Bengali music his parents played at home, a custom they continued after emigrating to the U.S. when Saha was just one year old. By the time he was five, living in rural Illinois, Saha was taking violin lessons. He became more inspired by indie, punk, hip-hop and electronic music in his teens, and soon took up the guitar. While he craved being in a band, Saha's friends were not into the same music so he decided to try his hand at being a solo artist. He began experimenting with production software, making beats and songs inspired by dubstep artists like Afrojack and Avicii, and putting together mashups and remixes under the name No Pets Allowed. In 2014, he decided on a new alias: Saha picked "Jai" from a list of Top 10 Indian baby names, and added the "Wolf" as a nod to Game of Thrones. After the name change, his online presence grew and he was soon asked to make remixes for artists including ODESZA, Alesso, Dirty South and Melanie Martinez. He even caught the attention of Skrillex, who heard Saha's reworking of his track "Ease My Mind," and granted him permission to release an official remix. In 2015, Saha released his debut single, "Indian Summer," on ODESZA's label Foreign Family Collective and saw it reach No. 31 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. He then signed with New York independent label Mom + Pop, who released his debut EP, Kindred Spirits, in 2016. He spent the next few years on the road, making appearances at major festivals around the world, and it wasn't until April 2019 that he finally released his much-anticipated debut full-length album, The Cure to Loneliness.

Got kinda bored most of the time. Didn’t really have a lot of melodic edm head-banging going on it was too soft of his music that he played but at the same time. I was just vibing a little bit here and there. We left a little early because it got more boring.

by Sophia on 9/12/23Uptown Theater Minneapolis - Minneapolis

The venue is beautiful and very intimate. I loved how they said when each act would be on stage. Jai wolf was amazing! The graphics, lighting and sound were phenomenal. It was a really great show and I wish I could relive it again.

    Great opener, boring main act

by Evan Gia’s Husband on 9/12/23The Sylvee - Madison

The opener, Evan Giia, was significantly better than Jai Wolf. He was boring and seemingly unenthusiastic

Openers were so loud, J’ai Wolf was so pop

by Surrah on 9/11/23The Sylvee - Madison

The opener’s (Evan Giia) tracks were SO LOUD, it was almost painful and had to put earplugs in to even enjoy. Even then, the base was shaking my body and not in a way I found enjoyable. Jai Wolf sound quality was way better but the overall set was way more pop and cheesy than I expected. Some good moments for some of the drops but otherwise felt a little basic.

Amazing show!! From the lights to the visuals to the music.. This guy is a step above the rest and I'm surprised that he's not more popular on the EDM charts.

Best VIP experience I’ve ever had

    by Jess on 8/12/23

The doors were being pushed back due to technical difficulties but despite that the staff was very friendly and kept updating us on what was going on. They help onto vip’s merch and poster we got signed the entire concert for us which was something I’ve never had happen to me. The meet and greet was the most personal and special one I’ve ever done (and I’ve done dozens of vip experiences). It was like a 5 minute conversation with Sajeeb and he was the sweeting human being ever. His crew also knows how to organize stuff. Super friendly and chill. Then the best part the staff WALKED us to the front to the barricade for the VIP people because they let GA so they didn’t have to wait outside any longer. I’ve NEVER had that type of experience before. It made me feel important. I got To stay at the front for literally the entire concert and it just made that a million times cooler.

    Great vibes

by AB on 5/9/22Boat Cruise Summer Series - Boston

Jai Wolf always delivers an amazing show. Have seen him multiple times. Besides Sundara, this was one of the best shows. The Boat Cruise with the city skyline, being on the water, planes flying over from the airport. It was all pretty awesome. Glad I was able to experience this. The artists he features before his set were amazing too! Especially JesseJess

    Couldn’t hear much

by Tiedyekid on 5/9/22Boat Cruise Summer Series - Boston

I wish i could have heard more from the back. It was as if the place was missing a speaker. Sad. I hope the boat gets better.

by Hailey on 10/17/19House of Blues Dallas presented by Cricket Wireless - Dallas

Started an hour later than advertised but it was awesome and so worth it. I would definitely go again. I love Jai Wolf's music. The lights and "effects" were crazy wicked.

    Out of this world

by S. B. on 10/13/19Aztec Theatre presented by Cricket Wireless - San Antonio

I've been a Jai Wolf fan for a long time and I knew this concert would be good, but it blew me away. Everything sounded so good and the visuals were insane. Definitely one of the best concerts I have ever been too and can't wait to see him again.

    Great venue

by Ohms on 10/10/19House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - Houston

Sound issues with this specific show, but usually have a great experience at this venue. Sometimes difficult to get drinks during a big show when the crowd reaches the bar areas.

    It could’ve been better

by C. on 10/6/19House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - Houston

I felt like I was packed in there with no room what so ever. Also, I felt like the venue wasn’t ready for the light show. From what I know, the power surged twice. When it happened the second time thats what I left because I didn’t want to anticipate it happening again.
