About

Hailing from the projects of New Jersey, rapper-turned-R&B singer Jaheim promotes a message of appreciation in his soul-fueled slow jams. On 2013’s Appreciation Day, Jaheim expresses his appreciation for beautiful women, but the real object behind the album’s title are the fans that propelled his last five albums to the Top Five of the Billboard R&B Albums chart.  With lead single “Age Ain’t A Factor,” the singer declares that his gratitude is equal opportunity – the music video features Vivica A. Fox as the song’s aging, but still beautiful, subject.  Jaheim’s passionate odes to life and love have earned him three Grammy nominations, including Best R&B Album for 2010’s Another Round and Best R&B Song for hit single “Finding My Way Back.” Ticket buyers are also appreciative, showering  Jaheim with rave reviews of his gospel-influenced live shows on 2013’s Appreciation Tour and eagerly awaiting his upcoming performances with R&B songstress Chrisette Michele.

    An Experience

by Barnaby on 5/15/19Wintrust Arena - Chicago

Overall, I enjoyed all of the Artists. Eric Benet was an awesome Opener! Music Soul Child was ok. Tank Shut It Down! I was very Disappointed in the way Jaheim was treated. It appeared his part of the show was doomed before he got on the stage, because his Sound system was horrible. The Sound Crew disappeared with one guy on the floor. Jaheim and his band as well as Background Singers did a great job and stayed professional. But, one could only imagine, what happened? Did Jaheim not pay somebody before hand. Jeez...

    Disappointed

by NitaM on 5/14/19Wintrust Arena - Chicago

I was disappointed because Jaheim did not sing a lot of his songs. I love Luther and Teddy is okay but I purchased the tickets because I came to hear Jahiem sing his songs! Eric Bennett, Tank and Musiq Soul child all were very awesome but like Bill Bellamy was the highlight of the shows. Thank you Bill for an awesome show!

    Amazing

    by T. W. on 5/14/19Wintrust Arena - Chicago

My first time seeing Tank in concert & he was amazing. I loved Musiq performance as well. Jaheim was good but I wish he would’ve did more of his songs. Overall, I had a good time.

    Bless his heart ❤️

by Court on 5/14/19Wintrust Arena - Chicago

Jaheim should not have been the headliner. Other performers were much better and had better stage presence. Jaheim’s sound team could not get it together and myself and many others left during his performance.

    Overall, the show was ok.

by Fantasia fan on 5/14/19Wintrust Arena - Chicago

The seats were too close on the floor. If you say next to a larger person, you were uncomfortable, and for $150, comfort is key. The headliner should have been just a part of the line up. However, overall it was a good show. I encourage the venue to publicize if blinking or strobe lights well be used in the future for those who have vestibular issues or epilepsy.

    Poor Sound Quality

by Tee on 5/14/19Wintrust Arena - Chicago

My mom and I was excited to Jaheim and the other artists, however we were disappointed with the sound quality in the 225 section area. The sound was muffled and we could hardly hear the host, Bill Bellamy's jokes or the words of the artists' songs. I've been to other arenas like the United Center in a balcony seat and I've had no issues with the sound quality.

    So - So

by MG on 5/14/19Wintrust Arena - Chicago

Sound quality in the arena was overall poor. & not the right venue for a concert due to the acoustics. Jaheim did too many "covers" (other peoples songs) and none of his great music. Bill Bellamay was funny - great job. Tank; first time I saw hi & he was ok. Music Soul Child was good but sound quality poor & by the way I don't pay to hear the audience sing I paid to hear YOU sing. Eric Benoit was good.

The show was great until the end

by Ida on 5/14/19Wintrust Arena - Chicago

Musiq was okay, Eric Bennet did a great job, Tank did a great job but Jaheim pissed me off. We came to hear him sing his songs that he recorded and made money from not all those old songs of someone else. I was very upset and disappointed. I didn’t like the way y’all had microphone echo on his performance and so loud we could barely understand him, it wasn’t that way for the other performers so why him. He asked for y’all to adjust the mic but nothing happened. I don’t think you that was right nor fair to him, his mic should have the same and speakers the same as the other performances.

Parking was horrible at the Wintrust Arena

    by D. F. on 5/14/19Wintrust Arena - Chicago

Unfortunately, it took 1 hour to get inside the 1 parking garage for the Wintrust Arena. The show was a 3, I enjoyed Musiq Soulchild and Tank but Jaheim performance wasn't at all up to part, I thought he could have done a much better job!!

    Very Disappointed

    by J. M. on 5/14/19Wintrust Arena - Chicago

Terrible seats that were like folding chairs. The sound mixing quality was very bad and the performers mostly sang other artist's songs and not their own. The headliner took over 15 minutes to come out on stage. We left before the end of the concert.

    A real Singer

by Lo on 5/14/19Wintrust Arena - Chicago

The sound was a little wonky but Jaheim’s voice is absolutely beautiful. Eric Bennet was great, Tank not really my flavor but good job. Musiq I was surprised I didn’t really like his performance.
