About

Hailing from the projects of New Jersey, rapper-turned-R&B singer Jaheim promotes a message of appreciation in his soul-fueled slow jams. On 2013’s Appreciation Day, Jaheim expresses his appreciation for beautiful women, but the real object behind the album’s title are the fans that propelled his last five albums to the Top Five of the Billboard R&B Albums chart.  With lead single “Age Ain’t A Factor,” the singer declares that his gratitude is equal opportunity – the music video features Vivica A. Fox as the song’s aging, but still beautiful, subject.  Jaheim’s passionate odes to life and love have earned him three Grammy nominations, including Best R&B Album for 2010’s Another Round and Best R&B Song for hit single “Finding My Way Back.” Ticket buyers are also appreciative, showering  Jaheim with rave reviews of his gospel-influenced live shows on 2013’s Appreciation Tour and eagerly awaiting his upcoming performances with R&B songstress Chrisette Michele.

    Thank God for Fantasia

    by Disappointed1920 on 5/23/10Mississippi Coliseum - Jackson

This event title JAHEIM as the highlighter for the night; however his show was a large disappointment for me. Had it not been for Fantasia, whom might I add did an AWESOME job, the show would have overall been a waste of my time. Jaheim is not in any means a stage performer to me.

We were really worked up even before the main event. The opening acts were fantastic.

    Fantasia was the show

    by LadyT123 on 5/23/10Mississippi Coliseum - Jackson

Overall the concert was good. The opening acts, expecially Ms. Karen Brown were great. Fantasia was the show, she was FANTASTIC!!! Jahim on the other hand was lacking and should have been the opener for MS. BROWN AND FANTASIA.

    Fantasia Rocked!!!

by MsSweetheart on 5/23/10Mississippi Coliseum - Jackson

The local opening acts were great! Although I initially attended for Jaheim, Fantasia rocked hard!!! Her performance was awesome! Even the attention that she gave to the audience was great!!! Jaheim sang very, VERY well! His performance was more laid back, but was expected with his type music. Unfortunately, he left the stage for outfit change w/o any explanations and exited the show without any notice, other than "love you". At first he put on a good performance, but later it appeared that he was there, but not really. It made us feel like customers. Fantasia made us feel like family.

    Jaheim @ Paradise Theater

by MissNikNik on 5/5/10Concert - Bronx

The show started ontime. The opening acts were great. There was a longer than expected intermission - Shala blamed it on the line to bathroom, but that has nothing to do with Jaheim! Jaheim came out to the classic song "Could It Be." He sung songs from various albums. Jaheim was a true gentleman on stage! He has an incredible voice both Live & on his albums. I could feel his passion deep in my soul as he sung. Jaheim has a voice that many R&B singers lack. Its natural for him! His background singers were awesome! Overall this show was fabulous. It was well worth the money spent. Thank you for the memories Jaheim!
