JAGGED EDGE IN CONCERT:

Silky smooth vocalists Jagged Edge had an active 2013, headlining the Spring Love Tour in addition to their appearances on The Kings of R&B World Tour. Casting their velvety tones over packed houses around the globe, the classic quartet reminds those old school R&B fans exactly how it's done, actively building anticipation for their 2014 tour dates.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

“Jagged Edge was on fire!”

“Jagged Edge, what a lady’s dream! All of these wonderful men serenading ME! Well that’s what it felt like!”

“Jagged Edge was the highlight of the night, they are so friggin’ sexy!”

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Jagged Edge ruled the R&B airwaves in the late ‘90s and 2000s with hits like “The Way That You Talk,” “I Gotta Be,” and “He Can’t Love You.” In 2000, their second album in J.E. Heartbreak  went double platinum, earning them their first No. 1 with "Let's Get Married" and solidifying their status as one of the biggest R&B acts of the era. The 2011 release of The Remedy marked the band's sixth consecutive Top 10 album on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, garnering critical acclaim and kicking off an international tour.

The concert was good, but the background music was too loud you could barely hear the lyrics.

KC and Jojo fell off man. Both of them lost their voices. Sad. Jagged Edge was kind of corny. They didn't seem like they were into the show. Next did pretty good. They kept the crowd. Horace Brown didn't perform ( My prayers go out to your moms brother) but Intro took his place. They did alright. The comedian Smokey was a funny dude. He kept things going.

  • Jagged Edge was great...venue was not!

by YvieW on 4/8/12Paradise Theater - BronxRating: 2 out of 5

Jagged Edge's actual peformance was great, but the sound quality at the Paradise Theatre was poor. The microphones were low and it was really difficult to hear the artists' sing over the music. Jagged Edge were the headliners, but Next and K-Ci and JoJo opened up for them. Next put on a great show, but K-Ci and JoJo were horrible! Because Jagged Edge is my favorite group and they were the last act for the evening, I had to sit through K-Ci and JoJo's entire performance. It was torture! A lot of members of the audiece left while K-Ci and JoJo performed. I recommend that Jagged Edge never perform with them again. And the Paradise Theatre needs to do a better job with sound check.

  • What a surprise!

by Anonymous on 4/8/12Paradise Theater - BronxRating: 4 out of 5

I saw that K-Ci and Jo-Jo were set to appear at this event, and rallied up a handful of '80s babies to attend with me. We were much more interested in 50% of Jodeci than Jagged Edge. It was a bumpy evening, but in the end, we had a surprisingly good time! 1. Entirely too many opening acts. The event started at 8 PM, but real artists didn't come onto the stage until 10 PM. 2. Intro? The frontman was on crutches, but was clearly the best singer in the group. Harmonies were off-off-off, but folks in the crowd seemed to know a couple of their songs. I think I was too young to remember these guys. 3. Next . . . was . . . incredible! Wonderful singing, nice dance moves that reminded me of '90s music videos, and they had a tight set that included every hit we remembered, and some hits they'd written for other artists. Fantastic. 4. K-Ci was wil'in and gyrating. Hilarious. Jo-Jo seemed like he was a little past his prime. They were just fine, but didn't sing "All My Life" or "Don't Rush." Folks were ornery about that. 5. Jagged Edge, although they were dressed well, sang well, and did their thing, were a little anticlimactic. Some of the crowd in the mezzanine definitely started to leave after K-Ci and Jo-Jo. Folks were tired! All in all? A good time, but too much focus on the 2-hour opening. K-Ci and Jo-Jo should have had a longer set.

    by Angelrene03 on 2/14/12Piere's - Fort WayneRating: 4 out of 5

The recent Jagged Edge concert was awesome!! When they went on they shut down the venue although myself and others wished their performance was longer. I truly enjoyed it overall.

  • Not horrible, Not Awesome

by Ellente on 5/17/114th and B - San DiegoRating: 3 out of 5

Well first, the show was supposed to start at 7pm. I figured it wasn't but there was nothing but a (very nice) DJ until 10pm. The opening acts were not that great, there was only one that I thought was pretty nice. The venue (4th &B) was nice. It was decent size and the lighting was decent. The show all-together was nothing really to be remembered, Jagged Edge only performed for like 15-20min. And it was nice but nothing spectacular.

  • Too Short

by Sweetsunshyne on 5/16/114th and B - San DiegoRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was very nice and the line up was nice as well. BUT Jagged Edge didn't stay out long enough. We were all suprised when it ended so abruptly.

  • I WANT MY Money Back!!!

    by TeeTee1985 on 5/14/114th and B - San DiegoRating: 1 out of 5

The doors opened at 8:00 PM Jagged Edge didn't get on stage until 10:00 PM and they were off the stage at 10:20 PM! I had to sit ther and watch crappy performers perfom for two hours until Jagged Edge arrives. How are you going to promote an album if you show up late to your own Concert. This was suppose to me my mother's Day present and it was horrible. I was so disapointed! I wanted my money back! The owner said we could leave because he didn't care because he had already gotten our money. I will never go to another concert at 4th and B ever again! This concert was very unprofessional and I want my $110.00 back that I paid for me and my best friend. I won't ever step foot at 4th and B ever again!

  • Jagged Edge was ok, but short show

by Jedger on 5/14/114th and B - San DiegoRating: 2 out of 5

Jagged Edge put on a good show, but came out 2 and a half hours after doors opened, sang 5-6 songs for approximately 30 minutes and left the stage without thanking their fans or showing appreciation for their wait. All in all would not pay as much money as we did to see them live, did not get bang for the buck. Would not recommend.

  • Avant

    by RayRay302 on 5/9/11anthology - San DiegoRating: 4 out of 5

Avant did his thing he's got some new material thats hott & interacted with the crowd... Now I have to see if Jagged Edge still got it this Thurs @ 4th & B

  • Not satisified

by JLady on 7/23/10Chene Park - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5

I felt Avant and Guinwine were great, but I really came to see Jagged Edge and was terribly disapointed. You couldn't tell when one song ended and the other began because they blended all the songs performed

  • Jagged Edge was dissapointing!!!

by NICCICOLE on 7/1/10Lakeland Center Youkey Theatre - LakelandRating: 1 out of 5

After spending my hard earned $, they came out..barely interacted with the fans and sang 3 maybe 4 songs..couldn't really tell since they blended the songs together! Not cool considering the price of the event. Avant was great!!!!

  • The Mature Tour

by sexygirl4 on 6/29/10Lakeland Center Youkey Theatre - LakelandRating: 5 out of 5

I had a blast, Avant did his thang, he just showed out. Avant gave his fans what they wanted, consenquencly, Jagged Edge didn't perform like they should have but I ain't mad at them because I got to chill with Kyle so it was well worth my money. I will be at any performances they have cause I love me some JE.

  • by Wilfredo82 on 6/28/10Lakeland Center Youkey Theatre - LakelandRating: 3 out of 5

It was worth the money we spent especially for the seats we got....only thing is it was delayed twice and we wish Jagged Edge would have sung more songs...however Avant sang more songs than anticiapted and kind of made up for the 10 to 15 mins that we only got to see Jagged Edge...
