JAGGED EDGE IN CONCERT:

Silky smooth vocalists Jagged Edge had an active 2013, headlining the Spring Love Tour in addition to their appearances on The Kings of R&B World Tour. Casting their velvety tones over packed houses around the globe, the classic quartet reminds those old school R&B fans exactly how it's done, actively building anticipation for their 2014 tour dates.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

“Jagged Edge was on fire!”

“Jagged Edge was the highlight of the night, they are so friggin’ sexy!”

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Jagged Edge ruled the R&B airwaves in the late ‘90s and 2000s with hits like “The Way That You Talk,” “I Gotta Be,” and “He Can’t Love You.” In 2000, their second album in J.E. • Jagged Edge: 3 hrs late and performed for 20 mins

by RellyRedd on 1/20/15Willett Hall - PortsmouthRating: 1 out of 5

I purchased VIP tickets for my cousin and I. The VIP passes were to include a front row seat, meet and greet, and photo with Jagged Edge. The show was suppose to start at 8 pm. My cousin and I arrived to the venue at about 7 pm. The usher gave us our VIP wrist bands and escorted us to our seats. (Section 103, Row A, Seat 1 and 2). I actually surprised my cousin with the tickets and gave her an even bigger surprise thinking we were going to meet Jagged Edge. There were several random people who came on stage from about 8:15 pm until 11 pm. Yes, 3 hours of bull crap I did not pay for nor cared to see. Jagged Edge finally comes on stage and performed for about 20 mins. They sounded good and I am still a fan of their music but they need a new promoter. The show was not properly promoted, the show was unprofessional, and there was not any type of security. There were individuals with "nosebleed" tickets that came and stood where I paid good money to sit and enjoy Jagged Edge. After Jagged Edge finished their performance they left the stage. Those of us who purchased the VIP passes to meet and greet them, looked around and asked the ushers when and where we were meeting them. We were informed that Jagged Edge had left. I am requesting a refund. I did not get what I paid for.

  • Looooong wait, but worth it.

by Pharfromordnary on 1/20/15Willett Hall - PortsmouthRating: 3 out of 5

I love jagged edge and their music. I was so excited to see a show near my area. My problem is that this event had soooo many opening acts such as an award program, message from the pastor, old school acts... Until about 10pm or longer it was a community outreach fundraiser or program. Don't get me wrong I'm all about supporting the community but this was not advertised ANYWHERE on ticketmaster where I brought my ticket. By the time jagged edge came out the other acts were exhausting. When they finally got on the stage it was well worth it. They did a good job! I've missed them... But it definitely wasn't long enough and they only did maybe 5 songs off of 8 albums....disappointing!

  • Worst concert ever

by Nycholette on 1/20/15Willett Hall - PortsmouthRating: 1 out of 5

It was so bad I can't even put it in words. Show start at 8 and JE didn't come till 11. They didn't even do a meet and greet with the vip. People was standing in front of us and we couldn't see. The opening acts were locals so it felt like a community talent show. Unorganized. Horrible experience. JE was there for 20 mins tops.

  • 30 minute set

    by Poohb757 on 1/20/15Willett Hall - PortsmouthRating: 1 out of 5

We waited 3 hours for Jagged Edge to take the stage. When they did, they only performed for 30 minutes. They did not sing their songs we really wanted to hear and did a cover of a song.

  • Concert was amazing!!!

    by YaYa89 on 10/2/14Macon Centreplex Coliseum - MaconRating: 5 out of 5

After reading some of the other reviews I was skeptical about purchasing tickets, but my husband and I really needed a date night so we bought them. We were not disappointed! There were so many acts and they all were great. Some of the reviews mentioned that Jagged Edge only performed for a few minutes then left the stage complaining about sound difficulties, well in Macon they performed for a long time. They were actually taking equipment off the stage getting ready to close and Jagged Edge were still performing! The show started at 7 pm and we didn't leave until after 11 pm. We really got out money's worth! R.L. & Silk killed it. Overall we LOVED it!!!

  • Lover's Concert

This is the first concert in the Macon area that was of interest to me. The concert was amazing and so entertaining. We didn't want the night to end...bring on the next one.

This was the worse concert ever! I guess you get what you pay for being the tickets were 2 for 1 at a rate if around $20. The sound system was horrible. I've heard sound systems better than that at a school dance. The concert started at 7pm but It took 4 hours for Jagged Edge to come out to only perform 1 song and promote their other projects. I think it was false advertisement. It was absolutely horrible.

Great show every act was awesome. Can't wait until the next show.

  • They need to stick to singing just their songs.

by Anonymous on 9/30/14Macon Centreplex Coliseum - MaconRating: 1 out of 5

They have so many hits but for some reason they decided to sing other peoples songs. That's not why I paid to see them. Would never go to another of their concerts.

I had an awesome time jamming to all the old school music. I can't wait for the next one. Everyone had a great performance and I would do to it again.

  • by Anonymous on 9/30/14Macon Centreplex Coliseum - MaconRating: 3 out of 5

I enjoyed main performers but did not like opening acts before main performers. I felt too much time was wasted waiting on main performers at the beginning of the show and between each performance. I estimate about 2 hours were wasted. I was getting bored.

  • Jagged Edge Concert wss a disappointment

by MsJayTee on 9/30/14Macon Centreplex Coliseum - MaconRating: 1 out of 5

The headliners performed 20-30 minutes each while 1 opening act performed for 45 minutes. I didnt go to see Kilo. The officials at the venue were not accommodating to people who paid nearly $100 for floor seats by allowing others to stand in front of us. The host was hood. Poor liquor in people cups from the stage. This was not a classy R and B show. I will never a attend a concert in Macon, Ga.

  • Awesome show!!!!

This was an awesome show!!!! We enjoyed all the artists.

  • All artists were AMAZING except Jagged Edge!!!

by alexis831 on 7/25/14The Perani Arena and Event Center - FlintRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was absolutely amazing, better than I thought it would be. UNTIL Jagged Edge (the MAIN attraction) came out. They did 1 new song and maybe 1-2 old ones. THEN they acted like something happened with the mic and they got pissed and LEFT! WITHOUT even saying thank you or anything. It was a horrible way to end the night. It ruined pretty much the whole concert experience. Everyone left MAD!! I lost a lot of respect for them from that, and I will NOT be buying their new CD!

  • Good, but could have been better.

by Saginaw3 on 7/5/14The Perani Arena and Event Center - FlintRating: 3 out of 5

Didn't start on time. Started 1 hour late. Groups didn't have much time for each set. However, they hit the most popular songs. Jagged edge walked off the stage after a few songs, because the sound was off. I believe something could have been worked out. Why would the sound guy purposely sabotage the show. Word gets around and no one would want to hire him for future shows. Communication or a simple preshow sound check should have cleared that up.

  • good til the end

by jat14 on 6/28/14The Perani Arena and Event Center - FlintRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great until the last group jagged edge went on and were only able to perform two songs. Not sure what happened just know it was disappointing we didn't get to see more.

  • Everyone was great but Jagged Edge was HORRIBLE!!!

by Krissy6161 on 6/26/14The Perani Arena and Event Center - FlintRating: 5 out of 5

I looovvveeeddd this concert! It was so great to see the groups together again - especially Dru Hill for me. But I was and still am so upset because the last act of the night happened to be Jagged Edge, and I was looking forward to seeing them. But three of them was SUPER unprofessional and actually walked out in the middle of their set! Something with the sound system gave way and instead of doing a professional gesture to their ear to complain about not hearing anything, they just walked off and left the one member saying "wow are yall serious" to the others. It was awesome to see Dru Hill, 112 and Next and it just blows my mind how they aren't out with anything new currently. But with Jagged Edge's behavior, I totally understand why they aren't out anymore. Their egos of what they USED to be is in the way of their desire to be loved by fans again.

Jagged and edge was very unprofessional they only performed one show the sound system was a mess I will never attend another event at the perani

  • Don't waste your money!

by Anonymous on 6/25/14The Perani Arena and Event Center - FlintRating: 2 out of 5

I spent $140 and drove over an hour away to see Jagged Edge, 112, Dru Hill, and Next. All three groups did a great job, but Jagged Edge decided not to finish the concert. Jagged Edge performed for three minutes and then walked off the stage; their explanation was that the sound man was not turning their mics on. Could be true could not; the other three made it work for them.
