JACKYL IN CONCERT:
Southern metal pioneers Jackyl hold the distinct honor of being the first â and possibly the only â band to ever feature a chainsaw solo on a track, a feat they accomplished with their 1992 debut single "The Lumberjack." Chainsaw or not, Jackyl's adrenalin-filled live shows continue to make sparks fly, as frontman Jesse James Dupre leads the band through fiery renditions of favorites like "Down on Me" and "Push Comes to Shove." Back on the road in 2014, the band is all revved up and ready to throttle at select US tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in Georgia in the early '90s, Jackyl made an quick name for themselves with their hard-charging live shows, which sometimes featured chainsaw solos by frontman Jesse James Dupre. Their self-titled 1992 debut went platinum on the strength of hard rock hits like "The Lumberjack" and "Down on Me," establishing them as primary force within the burgeoning southern metal microgenre. Over the course of seven studio albums, several live albums, and two best-of compilations, the band has demonstrated a stamina and intensity that they carry on stage every time they perform. Back on the road in 2014, Jackyl are ready and raring to give it their all at tour dates around the country.

Staff was friendly and we absolutely loved the bar located in the front. The friendly staff lead us to the front bar where you could sit and relax. Jackyl was great. Still rocking strong đȘđŒ

by Alex on 5/9/23Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleI saw them first in 1994 at the hard rock cafe live in Bayside (Miami). Awesome performance. Fast forward at tonight's concert and this band sounded exactly the same. Great musicians and rock music. The culture room is always a nice venue for sure.

The only thing that I really didnât like was when I ordered the tickets, I ordered a group of tables because I had more than 16 people with me and wanted all of us to sit together. When we got there they were split between odd and even numbers and my group was split . One on one side the other on the other. I donât know if you guys did it or 8 Second Saloon did it but it kind of sucked that it wasnât set up like we ordered them. Other than that Jackyl rocked and so did Spankys Clubhouse!!!!

I was upset for them that they didn't have enough ticket sales for the "big room" at the venue, but the smaller one was exciting because it was general admission and got to go where we wanted. Of course me, I end up in the front and they ROCKED IT!!!! I love Jackyl and they put on a hell of a show!!!! Jesse is still as sexy as ever. ROCK ME ROLL ME JACKYL ME OFF!!!!!!!

We get there and weâre not in the main auditorium we were told to go upstairs nothing was said I paid for seats that I had to stand all night absolutely asinine the venue shouldâve mentioned that as we were walking through the door not just a big surprise. They put chairs out that werenât very comfortable they put them behind your everybody was standing so even if you sat down you still couldnât see the band it was an absolute joke in the Masonic Auditorium in Cleveland Ohio needs to address this and fix this and offer refunds of the difference that people paid to sit for good seats. Everybody that paid for seats had to stand all night

Loved seeing people of all ages Rocking out to their muisc. I will be back next year for the Jackyl Family Reunion in Louisville, ky!
