one of the most entertaining games ive been to in a long time

  • facilities poor

by navygray on 12/18/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 1 out of 5

Having purchased tickets before the game was hyped, did not receive any fringe benefits given to later purchasers. My wife is disabled, arrived early for disabled parking, having been advised that parking was limited, and on a first come, first served basis, then found woefully short supply of seating within the stadium area, prior to paid seating being opened up. Thus spent over 2 hours with her in pain. Then during the game, were unfortunate enough to be near inconsiderate others, who effectively ruined the spectacle of the game for us. Not usually prone to moan, but this ocassion was very poor introduction to NFL, for a Brit, who as a result, might never attend another game. I suggest that moving the Jaguars away from Jacksonville, will be no loss, if their catering for disabled people does not improve at the present venue. As for the game, I can only say, it was a ding dong battle worthy of the hype! Pity the Jags lost, but the Colts are a hard act to beat, Peyton Manning is a wizard with that ball.

Awsome, AWSOME game. Gave the colts a run for their money. They slipped up at the end but none the less they played their hearts out, especially Maurice Jones-Drew. We'll get them next time Jags!!! Move those chains!!!!!!

What a great game! The Jags played their hearts out and provided quite a show! The out come was disappointing, but what a great evening! I'll definately see more next year!

Exciting Football game. The stadium seats were roomy and each seat had a cup holder. Water taxi to and from the game to the hotel - very easy to get around.

  • Jaguars played their best game this year.

by ADHDMOM on 12/18/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 4 out of 5

It was an exciting game to the very end. You could really feel the energy of the crowd in the stadium. I didn't see anyone leaving the stadium before the game was over. You didn't know who was going to win until the last 1 1/2 minutes of the game. The Jaguars played great. Garrard had a good game but not a great game. He was not at his best.

  • Worth the price of admission

    by SA32 on 12/18/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The pregame and half time shows were terrific! I will never stop talking about the voice of that 13 year old. This was the Jag's best game of the year, until the last 5 minutes; then it was like, "hey guys, we are not supposed to be winning."

  • BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE

  • by Jabberwookie on 12/18/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to quite a few Jacksonville games, but for this one, I was taking my boyfriend to his first game. As always, the facilities were fantastic, the staff was helpful and polite, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The only downside was that the Jaguars lost. I hope Jacksonville keeps selling out games because this is one of the best experiences in pro football. Go Jags!

  • sold out stadium at jaguars game is awesome

    by nooddles12 on 12/18/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 4 out of 5

for a 15 year old stadium the facility still looks magnificent. only complaint is that the entrance and exits to the seats are a bit narrow all over. but other than that, the atmosphere was electric.

  • Stephanie from Events Staff saved the day!!

by PLOG on 12/18/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

As a fairly new football fan at the early age of 82, thanks to Stephanie from the events staff, I was wheeled over to the elevators and made it to my seat with my family, before kickoff time!! She was great ! Very patient , polite and considerate and is a great service for elderly and disabled Jaguar fans to be able to go to a game. Thank you Stephanie!! (we were in Section 411) Was a great game experience!

Loved the game - it was soooo much fun. The crowd was great - the weather was wonderful and even though we didn't win the game it was still an amazing evening.

  • by Anonymous on 12/18/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Not sure why the folks in Jax don't find a way to go to the game. Quality stadium...good view. Flew in from STL just for the game and am extremely glad I did.

  • NFL Memory

by nfljagsfan on 12/15/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I flew from England specially for this and the Indianapolis game. I've been to all the NFL Wembley games, But the Jags didn't start till they had given up a 14pt lead. The game was good but frustrating for a Jags fan, the experience of my first live in America NFL game was really good with the level of crowd noise far better than I expected having been to Wembley, and this is an open no roof stadium. The level of retail, and especially food outlets compared to an English soccer stadium has to be seen to be believed. The Stadium shuttle I used was really good too, I was back at my hotel 10 miles away 40 mins after the final whistle. The whole game day experience was worth the ticket money, and I look forward to the Colts game on Thursday .
