  • Miami Dolphins won in the rain!

    by 1A2B3C on 8/24/10EverBank Field - JacksonvilleRating: 4 out of 5

We had an almost 2-hour lightening delay and then sat in the rain for the first half of the game, but it was a football game and these things happen. I had a great time because my team won. I would have been soggily disappointed if my team lost.

They play hard even with the back weather, good game

  • by thechinadoll on 8/23/10EverBank Field - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This stadium is beautiful; the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was raining the evening of the game, so there was about a two hour weather delay. Otherwise, we had a great time!

  • It was a wash out

    by hookup1959 on 8/23/10EverBank Field - JacksonvilleRating: 1 out of 5

My wife and I was really looking forward to this game especially since it would have been the very first NFL game I attended. I'm a retiree and my wife requested this weekend off and we excitedly looked forward to this event. Not familiar with the area, we spent a very hot Saturday afternoon at the Landing awaiting the game and learned we could take a "water taxi" from the Landing to the stadium. As we arrived at the game the lightning show began. We entered the stadium and were amazed at what a wonderful facility this is for the Jacksonville Jaguars team but as we began the search of finding our seat reservations we were told the passage way inside was closed to everyone due to the weather and there would be a delay. We understood the delays however after and hour and a half of delays we didn't see how this game could possibly be played. We decided to give up on the game and brave our way back to the water taxi and eventually back to our hotel all the while seeing this lightning show continue. To our amazement, the game was played after all. The point is, why the almost two hour delay if the game was going to be played in almost the same conditions albeit maybe not quite as intense. I'm an avid and life long Dolphins fan and became a Jaguars fan but this experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. We drove from our home approx. 60 miles west of Tallahassee only to watch the game on the hotel's tv. Our tickets were paid for nothing.

Through the inclement weather, long wait in other than comfortable conditions, yeah, it was worth the wait to watch our super bowl bound Jaguars play a most opposable foe. It was a defeating feeling to succumb by one point, but hey this is football!!! Got to give it to the Miami team and fans for giving us a good game, whatever the outcome. And thanks to Ticketmaster for making it such a joy to get tickets in the comfort of my own home.

  • Could have started on time lightning was 10+m 7:30

by FinsFanForever on 8/22/10EverBank Field - JacksonvilleRating: 2 out of 5

Basically, by being over cautious, we got overly soaked and 2 hours later than it should have been. The parking was a little ridiculous considering empty parking lots next to the stadium. Jags season ticket holders don't care much about their preseason I'd guess.

  • I paid for this?

    by wastedmoney4 on 8/22/10EverBank Field - JacksonvilleRating: 1 out of 5

$250 for 3 tickets, $30 to park to take my two kids to this game. Minutes before kickoff they announced that the game would be postponed due to weather. Really? You decided 5 minutes before the game meanwhile thousands of people are standing in the corridors of the stadium sandwiched like sardines, sweating and with no place to sit. After an hour we left. What a waste of my money!

  • by ultimatemondy on 1/1/10Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Everything was perfect. The ticket pcik-up at Will-Call was smooth and easy. No lines to wait in. The stadium and whole area around it was very nice and pretty new. Parking was also no problem as you had seceral options with diggerent prices available. We parked for $10 and had to walk maybe 5 minutes. Seats were very nice. Even received a Jaguars Bottle for free at the Entrance.

  • Far better than expected

by nfljagsfan on 12/24/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Having attended the previous game against Miami which was lost with a disappointing performance, I went to this game expecting more from the Jags, and although they lost, this was well worth the trip from England. To take the lead 5 times against the previously undefeated Colts was a more than pleasant surprise, and to go down to 1 minute 35 seconds left still with a chance of winning made for an exciting night out. Will try very hard to repeat this trip in the future. Absolutely worth the trip and the ticket.

  • Awesome Experience for my Wife!!!!

    by Scoop1942 on 12/22/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

My wife had never been to an NFL game. I thought it would be a nice birthday gift (since she is a rabid football fan and a diehard Colts fan) to take her to this event as her first Live NFL game... It was phenomenal!! As a side note: there were two other couples (who we did not know) in line near us who had purchased their tickets from another online ticket outlet and there were major problems getting in... we felt horrible for them as we went through the gate with no problem... Once inside, we saw them again and they told us they had to purchase new tickets at the box office!! Their online tickets were deemed "invalid" at the gate! An usher overheard us and commented that the other company (the one they had used) had consistent issues. When we told him we had used Ticketmaster he said "you guys certainly didn't have a problem..." That's why we go with Ticketmaster... never had an issue... I wouldn't trust my Wife's Birthday memories to anyone else!! Happy Birthday, Beautiful!!!

  • NFL Jaguars enjoyable experience

    by Bill32347 on 12/22/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to countless FSU & UF college football games over the years, but this was my first NFL game. The atmosphere and experience at Alltel Stadium for the Jaguars game was far more enjoyable. The stadium and searing is nicer. It is easier to get to and park - even though the game with the Indianapolis Colts was nearly sold out. Clearly, the NFL and Jacksonville know what they are doing.

  • stadium and staff are horrible

by jagsstadiumisbad on 12/21/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 1 out of 5

ive been to the stadium many times but this was the worst.the staff treats you like you are in a prison. they do not know what customer service is. i walked to the tunnel next to my section and they would not let me in , told me to walk to the next tunnel even though it was the one to my seat. went to the bud zone to get a drink. had to fight a mob to get through. it was nearly impossible to get back to my seat, aisles were blocked, no staff to help. no televisions to watch the game while at the concessions or restrooms on lower level. stadium is a real bad part of town. almost get robbed at the nearest winn dixie. no places to load up on tailgating supplies before the game. now i know why the jaguars have no fans at their home games.my grade is F- and im being gracious.

  • by FishinGirl on 12/21/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This was probably the most exciting Jaguar game I have ever been to.

  • Great Game..

    by FBjunky13 on 12/21/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Great game between the Jags and the colts, I am a colts fan, so the 35-31 win was great !! Colts are 14-0 after the game. Nothing like going to a night game to boot. 2 negatives was food, it was not good in the stadium, and Jacksonville is a college town, allot of drunk people at the game. But overall it was great experience.

  • Great Sportsmanship

    by ColtsFan676 on 12/21/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

A small group of us made the trip to Jacksonville to see the Colts play. It was a fun and high scoring game. I have gone to numerous away games and other than a few random fans, the Jacksonville fans were a friendly group. I would recommend Jacksonville as a destination for any fan looking to follow their team on the road.

  • amazing

    by manningfan2 on 12/21/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The stadium is beautiful, the game exciting, the food was excellent in the touchdown club area, I spent a lot of money but for my first pro game it was worth it. The only complaint was the 2 men sitting next to us was very volgure and one lady finally had enough and told one of them she was going to cal security if he didn't shut up.

  • Jags-Colts best in a long time

by Suniljagfan on 12/20/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This was an amazing game and even more outstanding atmosphere! What a great stadium to watch a game in. The fans were energized and the game was unforgetable!

  • GO COLTS!

by COLTLVR on 12/19/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Any game is good if the Colts are playing and this game was not acception!!! What a game! The Jags put up a good effort but it's just not their year. I would tell everyone to support the Jags in the Jacksonville area. It's very sad that they may lose their team.

  • 14 & 0

by undefeated on 12/19/09Jacksonville Municipal Stadium - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Colts vs Jax game was amazing!!!! Jags put up a good fight (as always!!!) but thankfully the Colts pulled it out in our usual 4th quarter style! If staying overnight, DO NOT stay at the Wyndham! VERY overpriced and old, and disgusting! Not your usual Wyndham hotel; felt and looked like a motel 8. This year we stayed at the Hyatt and will every year from now on!!!!

Awesome time. This was my first NFL game and I had so much fun!!!
