The first timed entry slot each night is 6:30 p.m, but depending on weather and daylight hours, trail entry may begin between 6:50 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The delay is put in place to give visitors an ideal viewing experience of the illuminated jack o’lanterns.

Timed ticket entry slots will sell out in advance, and reservations will become available on September 1.

Yes, the time on your ticket is when your line begins to enter the Amphitheater. Please expect an additional 30-45 minutes to reach the trail entrance.

Guests requiring wheelchair assistance will have access to parking near the Amphitheater Box Office. A valid parking permit is required. For drop-offs near the Amphitheater entrance, a wheelchair ramp can be found behind the Amphitheater Box Office.

The 1/3-mile-long trail surface is composed of compacted, crushed limestone for easier mobility, but does feature several steep slopes.

The over-5,000 pumpkins used for the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular are provided by the event’s producer, Oxford, Massachusetts’ Passion for Pumpkins, and are hand-carved and decorated by local artists.

Intricate pumpkins are replaced every 3 to 6 days, depending on weather conditions.

Photos and video recordings are encouraged throughout the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular, though impeding traffic and flash photography are not permitted.

Pets can not join on the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular trail, with the exception of service animals.

    Worth seeing

by Step on 12/6/23Iroquois Amphitheater - Louisville

While this is absolutely a spectacular display of pumpkins and their carvings, I wish it didn't feel rushed when entering. I feel like you can't truly appreciate everything that this event has to offer cause there are so many people getting in at the same time and you are being hearded through at such a fast pace. For the amount of time it takes to go through it, it shouldn't cost as much as it does. Prices should definitely be down for this event. $100 for a family of 4 to walk through a pumpkin path for 20-30min is ridiculous. So while I say it's worth seeing, it's worth seeing once and never going back, especially for that ticket price.

    "PUMPKINS, PUMPKINS, EVERYWHERE!!”

    by MyssKyttyeDiva on 11/8/23

The spectacular never ceases to amaze me! It gets better and better every year, and I'm always amazed by all the pumpkins and how much time it must take to carve all these pumpkins. No 2 pumpkins have the same face, and it's beautiful! Can't wait for next year, and what the theme will be!

    Didn’t get to go

by Apryll on 11/7/23Iroquois Amphitheater - Louisville

I’m upset I wasn’t able to go and wasted $40 on tickets. I’m sure it would have been really cool.

Thousands of lit up carved pumpkins. The amount of work it must have taken to set up was so worth it. An hour of fairy tale pumpkin wonderland.

    More than worth the money

by Madison on 11/3/23Iroquois Amphitheater - Louisville

When I bought the tickets, I really thought I had made a mistake. 40 dollars for a 2 person walk in the park with some pumpkins seemed steep. My mind was blown when I showed up at 8:30 to the light tunnel at the entrance. It was beautiful. The art was magnificent, and there were pumpkins even placed in the trees. I was so happy with the experience. Please and Thank You, a local business was selling baked goods and cider. That was awesome. The whole thing could have been from a Halloween movie. I was very pleasantly surprised.

    Truly spectacular!

by Amy on 11/2/23Iroquois Amphitheater - Louisville

This was one of the prettiest things I've ever seen. It lived up to it's name, it was spectacular! I took so many pictures, but the camera could not capture just how gorgeous it was. We were also pleasantly surprised at how kind all the employees were. My Mom was in a wheelchair and we had 3 seperate employees assist us along the way. It was a great experience. We will definitely be back next year! We are going to make it our new Halloween season tradition!

    Jack O Lantern Spectacular

by Sibylle on 11/2/23Iroquois Amphitheater - Louisville

We got there one hour early for the 6:30 show. We were one of the first ones there and go the parking space closest to the enterance. We had to wait until approximately 6:40pm sunset to enter. The display and carvings were spectacular to see. It was a great experience. I would highly recommend going to the first show because after we entered the lines seemed to go on forever.
