Jack Dee is a British stand-up comedian with over 30 years of varying experience in the entertainment business. Beginning his career at an open-mic gig in 1986, Dee’s dry humor and sarcastic wit led him to find success touring England’s comedy circuit throughout the 1990s. Notable performances include shows at the Hammersmith Apollo and the London Palladium. Dee hosted The Jack Dee Show from 1992 to 1994 and wrote and starred in multiple stand-up performances that were aired on television, including Jack Dee’s Saturday Night and Jack Dee’s Happy Hour. Not a one-trick-pony by any means, Dee has shown off his dramatic acting chops in the series Silent Witness and Jonathan Creek. As the winner of Celebrity Big Brother in 2001, Dee yet again received the chance to appeal to an international viewership with his iconic sense of humor. He is the author of two books, Thanks for Nothing and What is Your Problem?
