About

In 2013, rapper J. Cole released his second studio album, Born Sinner, and backed it with his What Dreams May Come tour. Like 2011's Cole World: The Sideline Story, his debut album, Born Sinner hit No. 1 on the U.S. album chart. Cole, whose full name is Jermaine Cole, first got wide recognition for his 2007 mixtape The Come Up, which caught the ear of Jay-Z and eventually led to Cole's signing by Roc Nation. Cole -- who was born on an Army base in Germany but was raised in North Carolina -- has since released a string of hit singles including "Work Out," "Power Trip," and "Nobody's Perfect." He built his loyal fan base by releasing a string of sought-after mixtapes and EPs, and also by being one of relatively few hip hop artists who tour regularly. All of the stage time has made Cole a confident performer who makes putting on a good show a priority, which keeps fans buying tickets again and again.

    So that was a lie

by Swaggy K7 on 10/30/21Capital One Arena - Washington

The entire event has people smoking inside. There were two couples smoking next to my lady and I and security did not enforce jack. There were at least 5 other people within a quick glance smoking and even though the venue said to wear a mask the entire time 95% of the people did not, employees included. Was a huge waste of time and money. We were so uncomfortable we left early.

Not bad but the worst concert I’ve been to so far

by Eddie on 10/29/21Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

The concert ended at 10:50pm to start… not to mention that they opened the entrances one at a time so it made it unfair for some people to make it to the merch or food without waiting forever in line than they announce 21 savage not performing the day of the concert as people are waiting we find out at the front door that he won’t be performing 21 savage and druski definitely a waste of money to me only got to see 2 people perform one while he was a big part of the tour like how do you miss the rescheduled date huge disappointment for me waste of 80$

    AMAZING!

by Yvette on 10/29/21The Forum - Inglewood

It was an amazing concert! J. Cole put on a show and really made the whole experience amazing. The venue was also a nice experience. I really appreciated that they were checking for vaccines or negative tests at the door and that they were walking around making sure that people had their masks on. It made me feel safe and let me enjoy the show in peace.

    Great Show

    More than I could imagine

by Yellow hat ray of sunshine on 10/28/21Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

It was an awesome experience even though 21 Savage last minute cancelled due to him having a vocal issue. Morray came out and shook the area to its core in a glorious fashion. I was expecting Druski to appear because he talked about it on twitter but was a no show. Then J cole came on stage with the most beautiful set design and visual effects. You would swear you took a tab of acid. Cole shared his catalog and put on a show it was a celebration of music. Bas a dream like superstar appeared and helped carry the load but, Cole proved that he was the star of the show. If I could I would follow the tour from start to finish. Yet I am content having experienced the Off Season tour in Detroit and I will never forget what I saw nor will I ever have the words to say this was the most amazing experience of my 22 years in this Earth. Worth every penny to sit in the front row.

    Best Show on Earth

by Valencia H on 10/28/21Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

    J. Cole is the best performing rap artist I have had the pleasure of seeing live. The Off Season was my fourth time seeing him and it is worth every penny! Only downside to this show is that 21 Savage could not be there to perform.

    I need a refund

by Ebony on 10/28/21Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

First the concert was rescheduled and then 21 savage didn’t show up and he was not replaced and we wasn’t notified until 3 minutes before showtime and the show started 30 minutes late. All this is unacceptable!

    Disappointed.

by Concert Goer. on 10/28/21Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

The concert was not what I expected, I was very disappointed about Druski and 21 Savage not being there to perform. Actually only came to the concert for those two because I’m not much of a fan of J Cole. So it was definitely a let down myself and friends.

    Reparations

by Truth ninja on 10/28/21Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

J Cole put on a pretty good show, he is a solid performer. No one informed me that 21 savage wasn’t going to be there until a couple hours before the show. It was a completely different show without him. Not only was the show moved once but it wasn’t the show that I paid for. I paid for J Cole and 21 savage and not just j Cole and if I would’ve known with enough time I would have sold my ticket. We as fans are entitled to some of our money back or a credit to a future show because we did not get what was advertised.

    Disappointed

by Disappointed on 10/28/21Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

After getting postponed, and 21 Savage not performing, I was left feeling that I did not get my moneys worth. I have seen J Cole 5 times and this was very disappointing

    GOAT

by Brit Woods on 10/28/21Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

    J. Cole is literally the greatest ever. I’m so glad to see him at LCA. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a concert and this was best ever.

    Good/disappointed

by Ty on 10/28/21Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

I enjoyed seeing Jcole this was like my 5th time seeing him he always put on a wonderful show. But I am very disappointed that druski did not show and we did not get notified also 21 savage did not attend the concert even though they were listed on the flyer and everyone paid there money to see them also i think it’s unfair that the show got pushed back and this was our outcome I’m not sure on the reason for the show being pushed back but I just don’t think it’s far for Detroit to get a half as show. LIKE I SAID J COLE PUT ON A GREAT SHOW BUT I DONT LIKE THAT 21 AND DRUSKI CAN JUST NOT SHOW AND DETROIT GOT NOTIFIED AT THE LAST Minute I feel like they been knew that they wasn’t coming so why not just notify DETROIT.

    Kids first Cole show

by Cole fans on 10/28/21Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

My boys, 13 & 16, are two of the biggest fans. I can truly say, they never stopped dancing and knew all the words to all but one song. J. Cole put on an amazing performance all the way around. I’m new to J. Cole, but can now say, I’m a fan. LCA in Detroit was amazing and all lines, tickets, concessions and bathrooms were minimal.
