In 2013, rapper J. Cole released his second studio album, Born Sinner, and backed it with his What Dreams May Come tour. Like 2011's Cole World: The Sideline Story, his debut album, Born Sinner hit No. 1 on the U.S. album chart. Cole, whose full name is Jermaine Cole, first got wide recognition for his 2007 mixtape The Come Up, which caught the ear of Jay-Z and eventually led to Cole's signing by Roc Nation. Cole -- who was born on an Army base in Germany but was raised in North Carolina -- has since released a string of hit singles including "Work Out," "Power Trip," and "Nobody's Perfect." He built his loyal fan base by releasing a string of sought-after mixtapes and EPs, and also by being one of relatively few hip hop artists who tour regularly. All of the stage time has made Cole a confident performer who makes putting on a good show a priority, which keeps fans buying tickets again and again.
The people that were scheduled to perform on the tour were good. However problem was that the opening acts had too much performance time as if they were headliners

Man, what can i say?? J. Cole made the Rave "BLOW UP".. AMAZING concert! i thought that he was gonna be alright nd plain but he got the crowd goin, brought up good songs nd had a good tempo.. AWESOME concert.. Also got a chance to meet the dude outside he ballroom, took pictures, signature nd shook his hand... Dopeass day! "Man I'ma 'Bout to BLOW UP"!
J. Cole was AMAZING! His entire set was so great! the crowd knew all the words (myself included lol) and he really interacted with everyone. Afterwards we got to meet him & take pictures and he was really nice! and very tall! lol overall amaaaazing show!
i can't even fathom the words to describe my experience. J. Cole was my 1st concert ever and I'm glad he was he gave me alot.
J Cole was incredible. He understands his fan base and comes with a flare and passion that blows you away immediately. If you are a loyal fan to his music, you will defenitely enjoy yourself but even newcomers will feel his flow and style. Really a great concert and the fact that he stays after to shake hands is incredible. Newport Hall was also a small revenue so your only a few feet away from him which makes the experience more personal. The man deserves everything he gets, Cole World!
I've been listening to Cole for a min now. His concert was beautiful and he did great. K. Michelle did her thang too!
Aye man on no fan groupie stuff..Cole came out and did his thang, it wasnt a sold out event but he performed like it was. I feel sorry for those who aint hip to him yet and didnt come out to make it a sold out event..his whole team was on point, even the master on the keys was nice with it... i got alot from the event and i salute the Energy he used to deliver...
J Cole is the future of true HipHop. It was great to see real talent and skill.
The concert was the most amazing event i ever been to. I will always treasure the shirt i had on the Jcole hugged me in!
the opening acts were whack and a waste of time, although k. michelle voice was powerful and beautiful. other than that, j.cole rocked the show! j.cole is a true hip hop artist and shows a lot of love to his fans.

I thought K. michelle did great she is really petite in person but none the less real. J.Cole was phenomenal however I was a little salty he did not give a shout out to jamaica, Queens or new york in general but its cool he is proves his greatness.
Very good performance well worth the money. Really good lineup as well.
