In 2013, rapper J. Cole released his second studio album, Born Sinner, and backed it with his What Dreams May Come tour. Like 2011's Cole World: The Sideline Story, his debut album, Born Sinner hit No. 1 on the U.S. album chart. Cole, whose full name is Jermaine Cole, first got wide recognition for his 2007 mixtape The Come Up, which caught the ear of Jay-Z and eventually led to Cole's signing by Roc Nation. Cole -- who was born on an Army base in Germany but was raised in North Carolina -- has since released a string of hit singles including "Work Out," "Power Trip," and "Nobody's Perfect." He built his loyal fan base by releasing a string of sought-after mixtapes and EPs, and also by being one of relatively few hip hop artists who tour regularly. All of the stage time has made Cole a confident performer who makes putting on a good show a priority, which keeps fans buying tickets again and again.
i went to see j cole in atlantic city. he was amazing. the crowd showed him so much love and he showed it back to us. he was a great performer and i am def gonna see him wen he comes to my city. he really connected to alot of us in the crowd. hes an amazing artist i really hope he blows up big time and is in the rap game for a long time cuz the dude deserves it. j cole come to ny!
Easily one of the best concerts I've been to, probably second only to Arcade Fire. He performs with so much energy and acted like nobody knew who he was. He was so humble.

The openers were kinda wackk nd it took j cole 30-45 min after them to start butt overall he did amazngg interacted with the crowd nd kept everybody guessing the next song and singing along .... Bombbbb showwww its a Cole world baby!!!

I have seen J. Cole perform multiple times and I can say with confidence that he always delivers a strong, energetic show. This is the first show I've seen since his latest mixtape "Friday Night Lights" dropped, and he did a good job of incorporating the newer songs into his more known work. He kept the audience engaged throughout the entire performance. Overall, well done.

There's not much to say. this was my first time seeing him perform so I was excited. The crowd knew every song. He engaged the crowd very well. In all I had a great time. And I hope to see him again.
