FUNNY HOW FAST THINGS FALL APART WHEN FAMILY GETS TOGETHER.
You’re invited to Broadway’s most uproarious family affair, as two very different families come to together for a wedding no one will soon forget.
Tony Award® winners Tyne Daly and Harriet Harris head a hilarious cast complete with blushing brides, nervous grooms, overbearing moms, unexpected guests, and enough twists and turns to make even the most experienced wedding planner throw up his hands and say ‘holy matrimony!’
IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU, directed by Emmy® and Tony Award® winner David Hyde Pierce.

Rating: 4 out of 5 Funny, Engaging Play
by BJSG on 4/21/15Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New YorkSure the Jewish mother character is stereotypical, but Tyne Daly pulls it off beautifully. She and Harriet Harris play off each other well. Great cast, fun story, not a dull moment.

Rating: 4 out of 5 Tyne Daly is a Broadway Gem!!!
by chrisnf on 4/21/15Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New YorkI didn't know much about the show before I went, and I think that added to my enjoyment. David Hyde Pierce wrote a great story, and the songs were quirky and very funny. The entire cast was a joy to watch. Having survived many family weddings, it was fun to see the truth played out on stage. Went with my sister, who is awesome, and I think between the two of us, we laughed so hard that those around us probably need to see the show again to hear it all!
Rating: 1 out of 5 It Shoulda Been Somebody Else In My Seat
by AnnieRei on 4/21/15Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New YorkWhat a pathetic, lame waste of a Broadway theatre and many talented actors. The jokes are completely unfunny, the characters are stereotypical bordering on offensive, the music is utterly forgettable, the orchestra is weak, and the acting other than Tyne Daly is regrettable. No wonder there's no intermission: there'd be no audience for the second act.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Very Funny and Unexpected.
by roseyitalian on 4/21/15Brooks Atkinson Theatre - New YorkVery entertaining and funny. The best part was the bride and the maid of honor were????? and the groom and the best man were??????. you will have to go see it.
