  • Hooked on Worlds!

by ZALI on 3/24/24Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Thank you ISU for hosting this world-class event in Montreal. It was my first experience attending this caliber of competition and Montreal. Both were delightful. I was not pleased with the tight seating and the long lines for food and toilets.

  • Disappointed

by Olive on 3/24/24Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 1 out of 5

Organization was quite disorganized. However, I must say that the skaters themselves were amazing. They put on a fantastic show and their skills were truly impressive. Unfortunately, one major issue was the high cost of the tickets. Many people I know were unable to attend because the prices were simply too expensive. It was disheartening to see that more than half of the seats remained empty throughout the event. I understand that the organizers want to make a profit, but it seemed like a case of greed to have such expensive tickets while leaving so many seats unfilled. It's important to consider the affordability of tickets and ensure that they are reasonably priced to attract a larger audience. Otherwise, what is the point of having high-priced tickets if they are not being sold and the event is not financially successful?

  • fun to experience

We went to see the ISU World Figure Skating Practice session. The ticket is from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm, and allows you to see the skaters practice. We stayed for about 8 hours. The seats were comfortable, as was the temperature in the venue. The only complaint we had was a lack of food available. You are not allowed to bring in any food to the venue. The Bell Centre has many restaurants, but only 2 snack bars were open- offering nachos, popcorn, hot dogs, fries, coffee, (no tea) and some snack foods. No real food was available, despite there being many restaurants there. It was a rainy, miserable day, so we really did not want to have to go out of the building to eat, and then have to come back through ticket check and security again.

  • The event it self was fabulous! Well organized.

by Gabe on 3/24/24Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Food and women’s bathroom access were really lacking. Most of the food options were closed. Ridiculous to not get a bottle cap to keep your water from spilling.

  • First Worlds Experience

by Bob n Bruce on 3/22/24Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

This is a great experience for us! So much so that we bought tickets for 2025 in Boston. The venue and organized events are well done. Everyone on staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful. The place and adherence to time schedules make planning very easy. Our only negative feedback is the lack of food options in the arena. So many food vendors are closed and there is only one restaurant that is very difficult to access between events. Very little time to leave the arena for outside options. Otherwise it is a terrific event!

I loved every bit of my experience at the 2016 World Figure Skating Championships in Boston, Massachusetts!!! It is so special because it is held in a different part of the world every year and this time the USA was graced with its presence! Because there are Olympic level athletes skating in it, you get to see the best skating in the world!!! Everyone performed their best and the crowd responded with thunderous applause and cheers!!! Everything about the Worlds was amazing and the exhibition was spectacular!!! I would definitely go again!!!

I want to see figure skate competition World level for a long time. So, dream comes true! It was amazing! So emotional. The whole stadium was breath together for every step on the ice! Also, despite to so many people attending to the event, it was well organized and feels comfortable.

  • World class athletes letting loose???

    by SuziQ2015 on 4/13/16TD Garden - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

We had come for the championships and stayed an extra day to the Exhibition Gala. Outstanding seats on the 6th row. You could see the skaters up close and even hear the scrape of the blades on the ice. My only wish is that more of the athletes did cute or funny performances. Too many just did regular routines or repeated performances from the competition. Over the years, we've seen much more entertaining exhibitions on TV.

  • Amazing skaters, good venue

by skatefangirl on 4/6/16TD Garden - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The world skaters put on such an amazing show! It felt like a "gift" to the fans... after the skaters' grueling week of competitions they must have been exhausted! The lineup was much more star-studded than expected as it included many iconic world class skaters even if they didn't medal. It was well presented and so much fun! The TD Garden is easy to access and park, and although steep in parking price even at event rate, it was smooth. Security moved quickly as well. The one glitch was our seats... beautiful view but blinding halogen lighten beaming right on our heads. It truly interfered with the enjoyment of the whole show. As I looked around the arena there were several other "unlucky" spots where these awful lights beamed down... unnecessary as the arena was quite bright.
