Detroit horrorcore collective Insane Clown Posse has gained one of the most loyal followings in music over the last 15 years, spawning a legion of makeup-wearing fans known as Juggalos. Band members Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope pioneered the hardcore hip-hop world and spawned numerous similar acts with an elaborate live performance that has made Insane Clown Posse nearly as iconic in concert as their actual recorded material. In fact, every year, thousands of ICP fans gather at the Gathering of the Juggalos, a five-day extravaganza that includes wrestling, games, contests and concerts from the entire Psychopathic Records lineup (co-founded by ICP). One of the first indie artists to develop a massive cult following in the 1990s, Insane Clown Posse tour the country relentlessly, and die-hard Juggalos will boast about how they have purchased tickets to numerous shows. The lively performance often features monsters, dancing clowns, girls and the several hundred two-liters of Faygo (from the group's native Detroit) being shot out into the crowd.
Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope are childhood friends who flipped the rap world upside down with their dark and supernatural take on hip-hop. Surrounding the mythology of the Dark Carnival, Insane Clown Posse has crafted a unique style, leading to two platinum and five gold albums over 15 solid years of recording. "The Amazing Jeckel Brothers" is the group's fifth studio album and considered by many to be their finest achievement. "Boogie Woogie Wu," "Halls of Illusions," "My Axe" and "Mad Professor" are among their greatest hits. Insane Clown Posse continues to represent more than just a name or single album. They are an act with a live performance that is one of the greatest shows on earth.
Amazing. Straight amazing. Awesome opening bands, Hed P.E. tore it up, and then ICP just owned it!! SOO much family, No fights, just all homie love...Bring em back!!!
they brought the house down one of the best most exiteing shows i have seen ever no one else in the universe can bring it like icp does
What can I say, it was Icp. Of course it was unbelievable as usual. Not to mention HED PE too. I always love them. First Ave is always a great place for a concert. woop woop mcl
The icp concert was the best ever I can't wait for them to come back.
I took my NY, NY native friend out for his 46th birthday bash!! He absolutely loved it!! It was non-stop Faygo(cheap-ass soda pop in a two-liter bottle)spraying the entire show! The clowns were energetic the whole time... if you need a show that is full of energy that'll keep you from walking out in the middle of it, this is the group you missed! Do Not Miss This Show the next time they are in town! And you'll find out why the show sells out fast! go, go, go!!! Be sure and put your evil clown face on and dress the part! Don't be left out of 'the Posse'
i enjoyed the music .It ws hot and .The ventilation could've been brtter
I had never been to a concert. My girlfriend and i are both huge ICP fans. So i bought tickets and we went. I had such an amazing time. I left feeling totally alive and covered in faygo.
it was a good time got drenched in faygo hopoe they come back
Unbelievable opening night of ICP's tour!! Band was fresh and music sounded good. Gotta see it to believe it.
no one puts on a better show then the clowns and there is no better place to see them then in minneapolis
This was by far the best ICP show that I have been to......yet. The opening acts were great and ICP killed it. I think they played at least 25 songs ranging form there old school all the way to BANG POW BOOM. The whole show lasted about 5 hours.
Insane clown posse was amazing their stage presence the show the perfomance, and they do preform very well. Everyone I seen was covered in faygo having a wonderful time, everyone was dancing and singing along. Everyone was pumped up for them to start and they fully delivered and beyond what anyone expected it was one of they best shows if not the best show I have ever been to. Don't forget to bring a towel and a extra change of clothes cause you will be covered in faygo by the time you leave. It was all about the music and the love for juggalos and lettes. I highly recomend seeing Insane clown posse to anyone. Hed PE really had the crowd going before ICP set up stage they got everyone pretty built up and it was insane how fabulous they where.
The Fago showers where so awesome every one was soaked could not be any more awesome!
Crazy Clowns, Faygo by the 2 liter and music to make your heart jump out of your chest, This was possibly one of the most entertaining concerts I've seen in a long time, if not ever! My significant other and I waited in line for two in a half hours with a bunch of juggalo's that made the wait worth while with faygo spraying fun and a great assortment of painted faces to look at, then after getting into the club, we were able to watch a bunch of really great bands before ICP came onto play. ICP's set was amazing, their lighting was great, their music Amazing, their jokes were humorous, and overall the crowd was very satisfying!
I love it. it was amazing and everything I could have asked for in a concert the band members coming to chill with the audinence after their sets. I LOVED it. I would recommend anyone to go
I have attended every ICP show in Dallas since 2002. EVERY show has been awesome!
Although this hatchet attacks was cool, it was not nearly as fresh as the one in 2008 at Red Rocks in Colorado. The music was tight as hell, but Twiztid did the exact same show that they did on their Wicked tour, so that was kinda lame. And the JCW match wasn't half as long as it was the year before. I drove there from Colorado Springs and i don't think it was worth it. PLEASE bring it back to Red Rocks!!!
i've been to hallowicked so many times before and i say by good its the best consert ive ever been to and cant wait or this year.the shows going to be great
It truly was a mini gathering! Juggalos showing love all over. The 3 hr wait in the hot desert sun was well worth it.
This show was phenomenal, I have seen many bands on Psychopathic Records label many times, and this show topped them all. Mike E. Clark was simply bad ass.
