Me being the minority (black) I received some strange looks walking into the racing world as soon as I walked into the event but I didn’t have any issues with anyone. I’ve never been to anything like this before and never understood the excitement or fascination about any kind of car racing but I get it now. It was pretty exciting. Glad I was able to enjoy the moment with my son and grandchild.
Great racing! Guys beating on each others doors for position! Just good ol fashion short trackin!

The indoor races where much more exciting that we expected. We had front row seats and were amazed at how quick the cars got around the track. Hopefully they will return in 2019 and will attract a larger audience. We purchased tickets early because we saw the date in the Area Auto Racing News, but the local advertising should have started sooner.
These drivers put on a great show. It was great to see the Championship decided here for the inaugural race at the TU Center.
I attended the indoor racing event Friday February 9th. Great experience, really glad I attended. Had great seats, there was plenty of action on the track, and the promotional team moved the event along and didn't waste time between races. The sound system was excellent, and the announcers were entertaining and kept the audience well-informed. I thought that the event staff did a great job venting the exhaust fumes throughout the entire event. The facility was clean and easy to get around, and the parking was reasonable and close to the venue. Overall, a great experience. Bring them back next year and I'll definitely return!
While it is nice to go to an indoor auto race in January in NJ the Friday show has deteriated since the time when Shane was the MC. Friday's show lacked the organization that we are used to. We have been going since they started the TQ races. The sound on Friday night was so loud I was glad that I had brought ear plugs and I couldn't believe that no one noticed that was running the show, Saturday night the show was much better although there were to many crashes and not enough racing. The track is really to small for what they are doing...years ago they used to run midgets which are faster and they opened the track up larger by going under the stands and out again...maybe with the cameras of today it might be a good idea.
This event gets better every year. The crew keeps the show moving & the competition is amazing.
Supporting class qualifying races were not available to be viewed. They were held in the afternoon on the second day of the event and no admission was allowed. The fan fest that was heavily promoted was for certain ticket holders only....it was not promoted as such. There were many families with children who could not enjoy fan fest because of not knowing a reserved seating ticket had to be purchased ahead of time. Many fans showed up at 5 for the fan fest and had to sit for two and a half hours for the show to begin because you were not allowed to leave and re-enter without being charged an additional ticket price. That being said, racing was ok, promotion of race was misleading and seemed to leave out a couple of key points of info that would have made a lot of fans a little happier
Always a great time. Racing gets a bit of a crash fest, which could possibly be changed by a different qualifying format.
I'm so glad that we finally decided to make the trip to this event. The racing was awesome and the staff kept the show moving. Can't wait till next year to see it again.
knowing most of the competitors makes it better for me. I have taken many people to this race that know nothing about racing and now they are hooked.

This has been a wintertime favorite for my family for the past several years. It can be a little noisy, so you may want to bring earplugs. This past year Boardwalk Hall seemed to be pretty full. It's great to see!

This was our second time to the Gambler's Classic in Atlantic City. It was incredibly fun!! The Boardwalk hall is a great venue for indoor TQ midget racing. The show was fast paced, with very little down-time. We were able to enter and exit the building quickly without much trouble. Only complaint would be that they need to relax their no-food policy - you can't even bring in a bottle of water...come on!!!!!
This is my 2nd year of going. Had a good time both times. Living in NJ there's not a lot of options to see racing in January. I'm a big race fan of all kinds of motel sports so it's all good with me. One tip. Park 1 block before the Boardwalk hall for $7.00 instead of $15.00 or $20.00 in front of the building.
