    A MUST-SEE Experience!!

by HarlemLivin on 9/23/22Sony Hall - New York

After having been a fan of the band since the early 90's when I bought their Positivity, Tribes Scribes & Vibes and 100 Degrees & Rising albums, this was my very first opportunity to see them live (better late than never!) And what an experience that was! Bluey is the consummate band leader, a humble, natural story teller extraordinaire! From the onset of his band's magical performance, Bluey led us through the journey of his life, all while injecting insight, wisdom, messages of love and unity, and hope for the future. He clearly enjoys performing in NYC and NYC clearly enjoyed Incognito's presence here! The band was incredible, with no less than 14 performers (where do you see this anymore??) on stage, performing tight sets with effortless talent (the solos were off the chain!) As for the piece de resistance, Maysa blew us all away with her amazing, infectious, soulful and prodigious voice. To bear witness to this close to 30 yr partnership between her and Bluey culminate in such a unique fusion of talent was the cherry on top. Imagine, after playing non-stop for no less than 2 1/2 hours (unheard of in these times of Millenials offering barely more than 1 hour of lip-synched or band-less, auto-tuned performances), the 2 leaders, Bluey and Maysa STILL found time to stick around after the concert and graciously pose for photos, sign autographs, and indulge us with our various questions. I can't wait for their return, hopefully sooner than later! A MUST SEE!

    Amazing!

by Nikki on 9/22/22Sony Hall - New York

I was introduced to Maysa and Incognito by my Daddy decades ago. The last time I saw them I was with him at the Keswick in Glenside, Pa. He was a nurse and I lost him to covid May of 2020. I drove up from Phila to see the show Monday night and it was amazing! There were some tears thinking of my Daddy but I know he was with me. Maysa's honesty and vulnerability on Deep Waters is so moving. Bluey loves his band members and the fans and it shows. Amazing show! I wanted to stay in NY to see them again!

    A Night To Remember

by Boobear37 on 9/22/22Sony Hall - New York

An exceptional night. The band and vocalists were fantastic. Maysa left you wanting more. There was magic in the air. Sony Hall is a great venue for music. It rained the night of the performance and we were allowed to sit in the street bar till Showtime. Thank you so much Sony Hall.

    Incognito with a Little Maysa

by Hvygforce on 9/20/22The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

Attended the concert event on Friday 9/16 in Reading, PA with my wife as part of a Pre-Anniversary celebration. - I and many other Concert goers were not clear that the Santander Arena and the Santander Performing Arts Center are not the same venue. (They are actually about 4 blocks away from one another.) - The venue was dated but fairly comfortable with good acoustics. - Incognito (The musicians and vocalists other than Maysa were simply phenomenal!) - During the 1h 45m performance Maysa participated (meaning that she was visibly on stage and singing) 30 minutes maximum! I felt robbed as the event was billed as "Incognito with Maysa" The band leader and vocalists DID NOT appear to be aware of her long stretches of absence in advance. It was awkward and unprofessional. Based on her antics I would be hesitant to spend $$ to see her again.

    The great Incognito

by Shane on 9/19/22The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

The band was impressive from start to finish with highlights of Maysa Leaks vocals However the sound mix was uneven with drums and percussion buried by vocal mix and the lighting was uneven as well w some band members being in the dark for their solo turns A spotlight would have been helpful or a simple refocusing of the no color par cans on mid stage pipe could have illuminated the upstage band line .. Again band was awesome!!!

    Volume

Great band. The volume was skull busting. I paid for premium seats; had to move to the back of the theater.

    Venue disappointing

by 2FansWilling2Travel on 9/19/22The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

First we parked in a lot near the Santander Arena not knowing there was a Santander Petforming Arts Center in Reading. Although that mistake was on us - the promoters could have noted this. We were not the only ones that made this error. Area was somewhat sketchy to walk around- no police or security seen. We walked the 6 blocks (after we saw a man put a sandwich board out in front of the Santander Area extplaning that tonight's event was at the Santander Petformance Center) . Glad we were early as we drove from Boston to Reading PA that day because we are big Incognito Fans. The show was great as always. New keyboard player was wonderful . Disappointed that Joy Rose, and Imanni as well as Vanessa Haynes were missing. Still the music was outstanding. However the accoustics were not good. Static on mics some of the night. Incognito's accoustics should've been fully realized and not compromised. 3 years ago we drove to CT and saw Incognito at the Lyman Center at the University of CT. Sooooo much better accoustics ! Easy free parking too. Booking agent pay attention to reviews like ours.
