Nigella was awful. She went on and on about nothing. People were leaving in droves. Her sentences had no end and no pause. This discussion was complete nonsense. I took my 3 grown daughters. Each of us has EVERY SINGLE BOOK of ina’s and we were so excited. But it was a bomb. Really bad.
Ina was lovely but the entire audience felt Nigella talked way too much. Ina would graciously ask a question and Nigella would dominate the time. It was almost as if Ina was interviewing Nigella as opposed to watching a conversation. People in the bathroom were commenting and even people at my parking garage were saying the same thing.
I am a fan of Ina Garten I am not familiar with the other chef This evening wound up being an interview of Nigella by Ina where Nigella talked and talked endlessly about herself I thought this would be about cooking Not how they take pictures for a cookbook What a waste of time
Thought she could've made it more entertaining for the cost and effort required to attend. Did not like the interview format.
Enjoyed the conversation between Ina and Cathy. Very enlightening. Very calm interview and enjoyable!

This was my first Norfolk Forum, but it won’t be my last. I am such a fan of Ina and Cathy, and was beyond excited they were on stage together!!! It was a great night out with friends! My main disappointment was so much talk of the pandemic. Everyone is over talking about it. I know it needed to be touched upon but starting with it out of the gate set the wrong tone for the entire hour. My one suggestion would be to request attendees submit questions before the event starts. Why not have a QR code on display in the lobby or in the program that once scanned, let’s you submit a question for the guest speaker. Then your team can sort through them and have them ready to go for the interview. I love the events at Chrysler Hall! Thank you for bringing top notch programming to Norfolk!
