In certain serendipitous cases, a band’s name perfectly encapsulates their essence, and heavy metal rockers In This Moment are a case in point - the sheer power and immediacy Maria Brink’s vocals make it difficult to be anywhere else. Simultaneously vulnerable and snarling, Brink’s emotional growl is a focal point on 2012’s Blood, the band’s 4th – and most successful – album to date. Singles like “Blood” and “Whore” pulled no punches, landing the album at No. 1 on the Billboard Hard Rock chart and cementing Brink’s place as one of the dominant female voices in alternative metal. After forming in Albany in 2005, the band’s 2007 debut Beautiful Tragedy quickly made them a metal festival staple and the opening act of choice for bands like Megadeth and Rob Zombie. Their 3rd album, 2010’s A Star-Crossed Wasteland, was a crossover success, landing at No. 1 on the Independent Albums chart and spawning a hit with “The Promise”. On Tour in 2013, the band has been blowing ticket buyers away with their thundering live concert, pulling fans into the moment with Brink’s commanding presence.
Over the course of their career, In This Moment have played many famous venues to capacity, like Observatory North Park and House of Blues.
In This Moment is one of my favorite bands. However, the concert has become "theatre"first and music last. There was so much fog produced, I couldn't even see the stage clearly! Stop with the backup dancers having so much focus!! Play MORE music! Lastly, the band is a five-piece but performed as a four-piece. No explanation!
Best show I ever saw I wish she was on a bigger stage I loved her at the Fillmore and Philadelphia Metal Gaga on steroids.!
Stage setup is cool, music is great, but the fog machines were overkill, made it impossible to see the band and appreciate the set. Throttle back on the fog a bit!!
Had a really good time at the concert loved Ice Nine Kills his performance and In This Moment their performance as well however the two opening bands weren't as good as I thought they would be even for them to be startup bands overall had a really great time and would definitely recommend anyone to go to a concert with Ice Nine Kills or In This Moment but just not the best concert that I've been to still love you Maria Brink
In This Moment is the best band ever , Maria Brink nails it with her awesome vocals , the band has killer melodies that add to Maria ‘s lyrics , missed seeing Chris and his guitar , I love seeing the females take the stage , I hope the next time they come to Greensboro North Carolina , they will bring more female lead bands , maybe Butcher Babies, and New Years Day can come back with them , if you never seen In This Moment , then you should definitely check them out next time they come , I’ve seen them at least 10 times now , and would see them again !
In This Moment is so phenomenal live! They sound just as good live, as their on their albums. Maria Brink and the entire band really brings such great energy on stage. So glad I finally to see them live after years of wanting to see them!
Everyone was super nice and helpful. This was my first concert, a rock concert at that and I had fun. A couple cons I did not like was that the seats were super close together, one slight turn and there goes someones thigh. Also I did not appreciate other concert goers continuously telling me to sit down during a rock concert, it was my first time so i expected more fun people because most of the crowd was sitting but it wasn't the coliseum fault. Overall it was fun.
Show was awesome. Would see all the bands again. Venue sounded good.
Awesome show by In This Moment. Maria Brink has a great stage presence and an exceptional voice. Only drawback, kinda sounded like there was an echo in her microphone.

Love the band and music but it's the exact same show and really can't tell Maria is even singing or just backing tracks. Avatar was great. 1st time seeing New Years Day and it was a very good show. Ice Nine kills was amazing and was hoping to see them play Damaged together. Definitely will skip In this moment next time around. Good to see a couple of times but this was the 9th time I have seen them.
We have seen In This Moment 3 times now and they never disappoint. We will see them again.
In this Moment is an incredible show with kick@$$ music! I knew this going in they didn't disappoint. What I didn't know at the time was their openers and co-liners. But I will say that I found three new favorites with New Years Day, Avatar, and Ice Nine Kills. Perfect choices to complement In this Moment's shows. First class, go see this show!
This show was the first thing I've done for myself, by myself since I was on bed rest for months after a horrific accident and my husband died a month later. It was the right choice. First to enter, right in front on the floor. Crowd surfed and replenished my soul with some of my favorite music. It was epic! A night I'll never forget!
The whole night was AWESOME. All the bands were great I loved every song from everyone. No disappointment's
When will venues stop selling more tickets than they have space? I went to the bathroom right before the headliner and couldn't get back inside the arena. It was that full. Because of this, I missed the entire headliner's set. Never again Roxy!
My favs were in this moment and Avatar. But I’ve nine and new years rocked it to! Venue was cool as well. I would def go see avatar and in this moment again!
Loved the show but the seats not so good. We could only see about 3/4 of the stage so don't get seat up top left or right of the stage stay in the back. Love the show it was great what I could see of it
All the bands were GREAT! I especially enjoyed the Swedish band- AVATAR. Their music felt like the older metal days. I'm 54 so don't question my older metal band comparison. LOL!
This was my second time seeing them. They always put on a great show. The Coca-Cola Roxy venue in Atlanta Georgia was a fantastic venue for them.
