About

In certain serendipitous cases, a band’s name perfectly encapsulates their essence, and heavy metal rockers In This Moment are a case in point - the sheer power and immediacy Maria Brink’s vocals make it difficult to be anywhere else. Simultaneously vulnerable and snarling, Brink’s emotional growl is a focal point on 2012’s Blood, the band’s 4th – and most successful – album to date. Singles like “Blood” and “Whore” pulled no punches, landing the album at No. 1 on the Billboard Hard Rock chart and cementing Brink’s place as one of the dominant female voices in alternative metal. After forming in Albany in 2005, the band’s 2007 debut Beautiful Tragedy quickly made them a metal festival staple and the opening act of choice for bands like Megadeth and Rob Zombie. Their 3rd album, 2010’s A Star-Crossed Wasteland, was a crossover success, landing at No. 1 on the Independent Albums chart and spawning a hit with “The Promise”. On Tour in 2013, the band has been blowing ticket buyers away with their thundering live concert, pulling fans into the moment with Brink’s commanding presence.

Over the course of their career, In This Moment have played many famous venues to capacity, like Observatory North Park and House of Blues.

by Callous on 11/30/23Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New York

I’ve seen so many shows and as always Ice Nine never disappoints! And that’s just them! New Year’s Day, Avatar, and last but not least, In This Moment were AMAZING!!! I have loved them for over a decade and this was the first chance I got to see them! Just amazing. I couldn’t recommend a better line up !

    Amazing Night

by DonJuan on 11/30/23Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New York

Every band from beginning to end absolutely rocked the crowd. Ice Nine Kills and In This Moment have a wonderful stage presence and theatrical presentation you don’t want to miss. Avatar gave their all in their performance and their songs as great! New Years Day won over a lot of new fans with their performance as well. I would see these bands again if I could.

    A must see band

by Charlie on 11/30/23Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

I've seen In This Moment twice now and all I can say is that it's well worth the money. They put on the most amazing show I have ever seen from the pyrotechnics to the band themselves. The performance that Maria and the her dancers put on is beyond perfect. So if you ever get the chance go and see them perform, you won't regret it.

    So so

by Bex on 11/28/23Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

I don’t think she was singing. She was wearing a mask the whole time. I was really disappointed how disconnected she was to us, her “sisters”. She sold out, and is now selling the typical “sex sells” moto. Evidence of that was all the men in the crowd was screaming they loved her. And all her dancers were dancing provocatively. Really lost respect for her. I give her 3stars because the show was good. But it definitely wasn’t a concert, and definitely not one you can emotionally connect to.

A great night of heavy rock

by ROBBIE K on 11/28/23Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

All 4 bands were incredible. This was a rock SHOW. Opening act New Year's Day have progressed nicely since I saw them 5 years ago. Ash Costello's voice was prominent throughout their 7 song set with new songs fitting in great with the older material. Avatar were the surprise of the night with a set that kept me wanting more. This band should be bigger based on their energy and quality of material. These guys have their hair spinning down to an art form. A fun, tight set that had a lot of audience participation. I came away a HUGE fan and will seek them out for a headlining concert. Ice Nine Kills felt like a play within a rock show. With every song featuring on-stage "characters"from the songs they performed, there was a lot to watch. The horror movie theme of each song was brilliantly brought to life with both incredible melodies, and gut wrenching growls with equal effectiveness. Many of the crowd seemed to be there for them. The co-headliner "In This Moment"who were the main reason I drove 7 hours for the show was last. But certainly not least. This is my 3rd time seeing them and they delivered yet again. Incredible vocals from Maria Brink and top level musical performances from the band and the "Blood Girls"created another night to remember. The one thing I'd like to see from them is a longer set. They've played 10 songs the last two times I saw them and there are easily 10 more GREAT songs that could be added. At a minimum, add 5 to give a better rounded version of what these guys offer. Again...LOVED the performance but they have soooo many great songs that didn't make the cut. I'd love to trade out the Nine Inch Nails cover for another one of their own compositions. It's easy to see why these bands are together...very complimentary of each other with similarities but enough difference to make it 4 unique performances.

    Best stage show yet!

by Jessica on 11/28/23Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

I'm a big Maria Brink fan and this was my eighth time seeing them. This was the best stage production so far. I mean they're always good but this was the biggest set I've seen. So theatrical and huge flames it was fantastic 😍

by Kimi on 11/28/23Cross Insurance Center - Bangor

I had gotten to the venue and was in the VIP line, and I had the parking pass, I was in line till nearly 4, and they had just opened the lot. So as I was going in, I had learned that I literally just wasted money lol. Whatever lesson learned, just maybe try to have the lot open a little sooner?

    Phenomenal and fun

    by Scuba15Steve on 11/27/23Coca-Cola Roxy - Atlanta

This was one of the best live performances I have seen between the songs played, the flames, the fog, plus the outfit changes for Maria and the dancers to match the themes of the songs, and the band itself rocks out super hard.

    Fantastic Show

by Jumpmaster on 11/27/23Coca-Cola Roxy - Atlanta

Absolutely awesome venue (recommend getting the upstairs/VIP if you can). Great flow to bars but not so much for the bathrooms - the flow is hindered by double doors that swing out into a bar and the entrance to the men's room. This made for big traffic jams in between sets. Not a bad spot to stand really. Great views of the band throughout the standing room only section. In This Moment, Avatar, Ice Nine Kills and New Year's Day (opener) were all great in their own right and put on phenomenal sets. Highly recommend the venue and the bands themselves
