  • highly recommend

always great line ups, the bass stage crowd never disappoint, a lot of chilling spaces, food options, enough water stations & bathrooms, easy access by metro.. the sound isn't always loud enough, but i never had a bad experience there, (except the wait to take the metro for leaving if you stay till the very end)

  • Scenic Venue

by Tina on 8/18/25Parc Jean Drapeau - MontrealRating: 4 out of 5

As always, the park is beautiful. The Ferris wheel and lush hills are lovely. Some music sets were a little lackluster and the crowd was not vibing with it. I am unsure if people were standing in the crowd waiting for the next performers some of the time but the music just wasn't building up enough in my opinion. No one was dancing for the main stage sets. There was also a path to one of the far away stages that had fences to either side and getting through was a nightmare, the crowd was dense and it took about ten minutes just due to the narrow size of the path. It was very odd but felt like we were trapped, unsure where we were going. But on the bright side, the water refills, sprinklers, and bathrooms (thank you, attendants) were all very helpful.

  • Clean up in vip gold

  • Great lineup, clean, well organized, need more speakers/pwr

by Jb on 8/15/25Parc Jean Drapeau - MontrealRating: 4 out of 5

Had a great time, the lineup they brought together was fantastic. The festival grounds were clean and well maintained, getting from stage to stage was pretty easy thanks to the smaller scale of this festival than many others. The one complaint is that the sound system sometimes left my group wanting. Several of our favourite artists didn’t have the power to produce their characteristic sounds to the level we’ve heard elsewhere.

  • More love for the bass heads please

by Amou on 8/14/25Parc Jean Drapeau - MontrealRating: 3 out of 5

I love Ilesoniq as I am from Montréal and I love electronic music!! However, the price keeps going up every year, but the production and organisation does not get better. The production at the bass stage is so poor, especially compared to the main stage! The sound was not high enough at mirage stage at all. Also, too much walking, and I hate when the workers make us do a detour, and I end up missing half of a set stuck in the traffic. Last thing, we need more water filling stations, especially with the heta we have. The line was always so long for the water and they were far.

Such a great weekend. Water available everywhere (!!!!!), bathrooms everywhere, incredible artists. Already going to buy my tickets for next year. Thank you.

  • Festival growing pains in the age of climate change

by Cuz on 8/13/25Parc Jean Drapeau - MontrealRating: 3 out of 5

Firstly, I was one of the few that brought kids (duo step fans) to the fest - but just to see one DJ in particular. As such, had to drive. The police and cadets seemed ill informed on where to direct cars - I ended up by plage Dore in traffic burning precious minutes before our DJ did her set. Each cop or cadet had a different perspective as to where to park - there needs to be more communication between the fest and police services to make sure all those peeps know where to send vehicles. Missed the first 10 minutes of the set due to parking folllies after being misdirected twice. Welcome to hitter summers - more water stations as it takes time to fill bottles and the huge lines and wait times were discouraging.

  • Amazing

This year was very well organized, we had tables in the gold VIP Mezzanine. Went into the crowd for many artists and came back to take our breath at the tables between the shows.

  • Stop sending water even if it's hot

No one ask for water sprinkler . You can ask everyone who enjoys being in the front.
