    Wine & Food Fest

by qt on 10/13/21Outdoor Entertainment Center - Ridgefield

The grand wine tasting was good with a lot of wine option. However, it was confusing for the destination driver on explaining how the ticket work. My friend is a destination driver. He had to paid $25 to get in with not much explanation that there is no option of non alcohol beverage of food option for paying $25. There should be some incentive food or beverage option for destination driver to make the event more enjoyable since the event promote not drink and drive.

    Fun and great networking

by ArmyTKDMom on 10/13/21Outdoor Entertainment Center - Ridgefield

Loved the event. So many new drinks to try and food. The live chefs was great for cooking tips. I do wish there was at least some food/snacks that were available that did not require tokens. Overall had a good time.

    Great evening

by ajhall921 on 10/12/21Outdoor Entertainment Center - Ridgefield

Great evening at the wine fest. There were lots of wineries, distilleries and a few food places. Everything was well laid out and it was never too crowded. We were able to get to each booth with hardly a wait at all. The only suggestion would be to have more information. We went bought tickets and went not knowing what the tickets included, would we have to purchase the tastes extra? there wasnt really any info given at the site either, we were just handed our card like we knew what it included. Other than that, it was well done and entertaining.

If you love the smell of gasoline

by loannutt on 10/12/21Outdoor Entertainment Center - Ridgefield

The event was held in the lower level of the parking garage. The first you notice when you walk in is the smell of gas and exhaust from the cars. You get 20 punches on your card, which is great but you realistically can only do about half. You get three tokens for food, but all the food is 3 or 4 tokens??? So drinking for 3 hours and you get one little serving of food from various venders. Not enough when you have been drinking wine for several hours. This is not an event I would attend again. It was freezing in the garage. The smell of gas was overpowering. Maybe a big heated tent would work better.

    Rose and Thorn brunch

by Wanted More on 10/12/21Rose & Thorn - Ridgefield

Bloody Mary's were OK at best, mimosas were mostly juice, service left a lot to be desired. Food was good, but very average brunch was the highest that we could give this event.

    Great Time

by Crystal on 10/12/21Outdoor Entertainment Center - Ridgefield

Great experience. Plenty of wine selections and other spirits. Food being demonstrated was great. Only critique is the food options you get to use tokens, there could be more of a variety.

    Great food but unorganized

by Heather on 10/12/21Rose & Thorn - Ridgefield

Food was good….no complaints. Service staff was trying but drink service was bad, they ran out of glasses and some of the vodkas they were offering for the Bloody Mary’s. Took the majority of your time there to get your drink. Also there was a lot of people there wearing tags that said “media”. These people were constantly taking pictures in the food line which significantly slowed things down. I found them to be very intrusive. Probably would not pay to do it again.

    50%off

by Molly Bee on 10/11/21Outdoor Entertainment Center - Ridgefield

About a week or two after I bought 4 full price tickets, Ilani sold tickets for 50% off. Got screwed on that one.

    An underwhelming experience

by Catherine on 10/11/21Outdoor Entertainment Center - Ridgefield

It felt like we it wasn't finished. Heat at the event would have been great. The price of entry gave us a lot of tasting of wine and hard liquor but the food was a huge disappointment. 3 tokens and you get a dish. I am sure it will get better but we won't be coming again

Event Great... Price Not so much

by Adrianna on 10/11/21Outdoor Entertainment Center - Ridgefield

Disappointed that we paid full price for tickets only to have the go half price. Ticket had a flash sale option AND a full price option. Without any info distinguishing the 2 options we opted for full price. Only to find out there was no difference. Truly felt deceived and ripped off. The event itself was alot of fun and we were surprised they had quite a few hard liquor options. Food we excellent

    Wine and Food Fest

by Pam on 10/11/21Outdoor Entertainment Center - Ridgefield

Super fun event!! For the price it was well worth it. Getting a taste from all the vendors whether it was wine, beer, hard alcohol or using our chips for food!! Smokin Oak was a fabulous treat after soaking up a bunch of wine tastings. I would definitely do this again and will invite all our friends to join us!! Also enjoyed watching the Chef's prepare some gourmet meals as well. So so fun!! Hope you do it next year!!

Lots of alcohol, not enough food

by Nad on 10/11/21Outdoor Entertainment Center - Ridgefield

Very interesting experience...I was expecting lots of winery booths but not all the booths with spirits, like 100 proof whisky to Irish liquor. The food was good, just not enough choices. And your allotment of 3 tokens which would buy you only 1 small portion from one vendor was not enough, especially when one is consuming a lot of alcohol. The chef presentations were fun! Needed for next year: space heaters and less fumes from car exhausts. Overall tho a fun time.

    Whiskey and cigars

by Rolled on 8/28/21Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom - Ridgefield

5 of us had a fabulous dinner at Micheal Jordans steakhouse. Our server was Zaid. He was very informative and gave us very good service. After dinner we went to the padio and enjoyed the whiskey, cigar event. We were each served a flight of 4 different whiskeys and given a choice of cigar to enjoy with it. We sat at a table and enjoyed put time.

    Great Event

by Primadona on 10/31/19Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom - Ridgefield

This event was very well done. From the number of fabulous wineries represented to the tasty bites. Can’t wait for next year! The only downside was the volume on the microphone for the cooking demonstrations. Way too loud!

    All Wine no Food

    by S. B. on 10/31/19Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom - Ridgefield

There were plenty of spirits; beer, wine, bourbon, tequila, and you could have lots of samples, (small ones), but the food was very limited and not very good. We got one free dish and had to pay for any more. The macaroni and cheese with brisket was mediocre at best and I wasn't going to buy anything else after paying $49.00 to get in. The half dozen restaurants that were represented were mainly the restaurants that are in the casino which you can go to whenever you want. Each one offered one or two items only, where is the tasting? Cooking demonstrations could have watched at home. Needed more food!

    Great fun!

by Lee on 10/30/19Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom - Ridgefield

Fun wine, beer, spirits and food event! Mainly tasted beer and spirits. My favorite of all booths was Ridgefield Craf Brewing. Their beers were reallly good. My favorite was their Loose Joose! The Ilani Longhouse potstickers were amazing as well. The punch card offered an opportunity to taste 34 different drinks. I tried approximately 20 different venders, went back tobthe ines I liked most. The 5 food tokens were great too. Did a fire chicken sandwich for three tokens at one of the food trucks, it was great! Will do this again next year if the xasino puts another one on.

    Wine at Ilani

by PJ on 10/30/19Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom - Ridgefield

Great event. Food was good tastings were abundant! Liked the fact that all of the tastings were included in the ticket price. We were not nickeled and dimed for everything.

    Way Overpriced

by shorty on 10/30/19Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom - Ridgefield

The festival was not at all what was expected. The wine and alcohol related tasting was fine. To show up, have to wait an extra half hour after the scheduled start time to enter, then be handed 5 tokens ($2.00) each to buy food seemed a little scammy. Other events of this nature that I have attended include everything once you enter the event. To top it off the food that was offered was minimal. I certainly will not attend ever again...

    Less than stellar

    by P. n. on 10/29/19Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom - Ridgefield

Food was good, but predictable brunch fare. Worst part was the two drink limit...ridiculous for the price of the event.

    Good eats

by Linda on 10/29/19Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom - Ridgefield

I had a really good time trying the food samples and seeing how well they were paired with the wine at each station. There was a great variety. I wished there was a list provided of the chef/dish prepared/wine pairing so that as the consumer I could check the dishes I loved, the pairings I loved and then decide if I wanted to visit the restaurant. That seems beneficial to the consumer and the chef. For me personally, the downside was that some of the food was cold and not as appetizing and too many wine pairings can lead to quite a headache. Perhaps some dishes didn't need wine.
