Il Divo - a Musical Affair Tickets

This was one of their best shows. I have always loved this group and they certainly didn't disappoint.

I surprised my Husband by purchasing show tickets on-line. He loved the musical and it was a very special night. Il Divo is fantastic! Classy, beautiful voices, and song selection. We sat so close to each other and held hands the entire time. The music brought chills up our spine.

Incredibly disappointing. Horrible sets, terrible lighting, poor staging, boring monologues, house lights brought up unnecessarily with blinding spots reflecting into audience, voices too big for venue. All song endings sounded the same.....deafeningly loud. Background scenes and lighting out of sync with song's lyrics. Guest performer, Heather Headley poorly miked, blown away by Il Divo performers and orchestra. Ms Headley's solo was miked so badly, it was embarrassing. Song choice for her solo was completely wrong. It was a disastrous evening, but we did have a good dinner. No more Il Divo for me.

As always, the gentlemen were most enjoyable to watch and, of course, to hear. The songs (mostly Broadway tunes) were well chosen. The female singer that was included in the show, was good but not necessary. She did not add to the show's experience and I would have preferred just having the men perform without her. If the group added the female touch to make the show a different experience than the usual IL DIVO performance, I have a better idea. It would be nicer to have each member of the group sing a complete song as a solo. We all know that they sing well together, but each man has a special voice and it would great to hear each one sing individually. Even though the men sing well in any language, I still prefer to hearing the beautiful tunes in English. At least part of each song should be sung in English - especially if they are performing in the US. The show was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a delightful evening.

I really enjoyed the show. Nice mix of songs. Heather Headley was a bonus. Her voice blended very well with the guys. I like the way IL DIVO incorporated her into the show. The stage was nicely done. I would definitely recommend the show.

What a wonderful evening I had at the Il Divo concert, A Musical Affair on Thursday. The Marquis Theater was alive with the sounds of music. Great songs from Broadway done in the exquisite Il Divo orchestrations. I especially enjoyed Heather Hedley appearance with the lads. As always the production and staging was top notch.

One can use all the superlatives and never get it right for Il Divo. I have traveled twice to NYC and to Windsor, Canada to see them. I thought they were at the top of the game. But this last performance at the Marquise in NYC, they surprised me. They were beyond exceptional, beyond perfection, unbelievably amazing. David seemed to have grown with his voice....range and depth. Impossible to believe, but he was never better. I can't wait to return to see them whenever or wherever they may be.

We'll done concert. Good acoustics. Broadway show tunes were well selected. Lighting was amazing.

I've been a fan of Il Divo for many years and have seen them perform many times. It was so wonderful seeing these guys again singing Broadway songs. I absolutely love Broadway so seeing my favorite group performing Broadway classics on Broadway was an incredible experience. They sang songs from their new album "A Musical Affair" which was released on November 5th. They also sang songs from previous albums and tours that have been on Broadway such as "The Winner Takes it All" and "The Impossible Dream." Heather Headley is also performing with them for a few songs in addition to singing two songs on her own. Heather is a well known Broadway singer she did a wonderful job opening night. This show is a must see. There are still shows this week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I highly recommend seeing Il Divo!!!

This is the 4th time I've seen Il Divo, and Heather Headley was a bonus. However, as good as the vocals were, as good as the live orchestra was, the sound system was second rate. Many of us commented the same thing on the way out. at the conclusion. Since it was the first night of the week-long run, I hope they addressed the sound for the latter performances. A definate 5 star performance was knocked down a full star.

It was an amazing concert w/gifted voices singing timeless, beautiful songs. A wonderfully delightful evening in sharp contrast to the trash of the night before called Book of Mormon. I would see Il Divo over and over again!!!! Thank you for coming to Broadway.

WHAT A GREAT CONCERT! THESE FOUR VERY TALENTED MEN FROM FOUR DIFFERENT COUNTRIES (USA, SWITZERLAND, SPAIN AND FRANCE) SING THEIR HEARTS OUT! WHEN BLENDED TOGETHER, THIS QUARTET IS DYN-O-MITE! WHEN SINGING INDIVIDUALLY, EACH SHOWCASES HIS UNIQUE VOICE. THE CHOICE OF SONGS FROM BROADWAY MUSICALS WAS AWESOME!

I've been attending Il Divo concerts for the past 8-9 years. Time has gone by so fast. The men are very talented, and this setlist "played" to the emotions of all musical theater goers. To hear Il Divo sing the familiar, favorite songs of ours was pure enchantment. It was a pleasure to hear Heather Headley on Broadway. I saw her in Aida ten years ago. This was a solid two hour concert. The audience stood for almost every selection. Lighting could have been better. There were times when one of them was singing, and the spotlight had not been directed to that individual.

I've been a fan since they started 10 years ago and for me this was the best. Their voices sent chills through me and it was unforgettable. From start to finish amazing.

Good voices and cute guys But over choreographed with animatation that added nothing Their life stories were ridiculous Music over shadowed voices many times could not hear voices Heather -did not pAy for her did not want to see her. She was shrill

I really enjoyed the show, the lighting a, the props simple but effective and of course, the singers. What a fantastic way to spend a romantic evening:) I will definitely see them again when they come back to New York coz it's money well spent. I can't wait to tell my colleagues about it.

I have been going to Il Divo's concerts since their first one in Boston 9 1/2 years ago! I haven't miss a one! This one "A Musical Affair" on Broadway was so wonderful! We came to NY on the train in the afternoon and took the 240am train back Providence then drove an hour to our home on Cape Cod! Quite tireing to say the least but would do it again tomorrow if given the chance! They are awesome@
