Just like last year, Icon For Hire did not disappoint! Love their energy, their music, and their personalities. Can't wait until they come back around!
Icon for hire is my boyfriend's favorite band, so I got him tickets for his birthday. Honestly, I have been a fan of theirs for years but I didn't really know what to expect from them live. I was extremely impressed! They were very interactive and so much fun! Then, when it was over, they did a free signing. They signed our posters and shirts. They even wished him happy birthday. They were very down to earth and passionate. I would see them again in a heartbeat!
Icon for Hire came to Stage AE and rocked the house with their usual attitude and style.
I like IFH, and when my band got asked to be there in town opener, i about hit the roof! So come see Pittsburgh’s “Cabaret Runaway” open the show! We will be kicking off the music for the evening, get there early and check out my project! You won’t regret it!
They put on the best show ever! They are down to earth, friendly, and totally concentrated on their fans. Meet them, talk to them, get pictures, autographs. They do it all. They also have a stage presence unlike any other band I have ever seen. Love them. Would follow them to every show they ever do if I could afford it!
Great show. This is the second time we've gone to see Icon For Hire. Great performance the band is just truly amazing. Took our daughter to the show and she had a blast. When they come back next year 100% will get tickets again.
The warmup bands were better than I expected. Icon for Hire was phenomenal. I will see this band every time they come to town.
This show was one of the best I've ever been to! Icon For HIre is one of my favorite groups, and they did not disappoint at all! Not only did they put on an awesome show, but they also stayed for autographs and then took pictures with anyone who wanted. They are amazing performers who are down to earth as well. I would go see them next month if they came back. This was my first show at Stage AE, and I really liked it. We were able to get close to the band which made for an unforgettable experience. You never forget singing the words to some of your favorite songs with the lead singer of the band or having the guitarist so close you're afraid you're going to get hit in the head by his guitar. :) I loved this show, loved the venue, and I would definitely see them again.
Icon for Hire came on after an opening set by Coastal Remedy. Their energetic, 60 minute set entertained the crowd from start to finish. Even the slight malfunction of Ariel's keyboard did not dissipate the crowd's enthusiasm. The band had the crowd singing, jumping and excited.
one of the best concerts I have been to this year! Great venue! Great Band!!!
This Icon for Hire concert was my first ever show, and it was worth the wait. I loved the intimacy that was felt. Watching the band perform an acoustic show and a rock show, answering fan questions, revealing Ariel's clothing line, and meeting the band was amazing! Definitely worth the $20 for the ticket. For this type of show, I would've paid upwards of $100. This band genuinely cares about their fans, more than any other band out there, and they showed it. I can't wait to see them again, hopefully soon!
Best show i've ever been to hands down. And i've been to motley crue, vans warped, and ozzfest just to name a few! Icon really puts fans and their experience first and you really dont see that in the music industry like at all lol..Adam (the drummer) actually stopped in the crowd during Ariels acoustic set and talked to me and my wife for a few minutes which was awesome. They posed for pictures with anyone that wanted and signed any autograph wanted as well. They are a class act and in my opinion no other band in the industry even compares. If you like rock concerts do yourself a favor and catch Icon For Hire....you wont be dissapointed! (the setlist i did for this review is not all songs played at show...kinda blinded by the fun i had to think of what else was played rofl)
Best concert I have ever been to! The whole band was so nice and so personable. I felt like I was the only one they were playing for at times. I loved how they have everything that they had into their music. It was so evident that they love what they do! I loved it :)
These guys put on a great show - although it was extremely short - they were only on stage for an hour and probably only played for 45 minutes of that - and that included the encore! I know the tickets were only $15 but I would have paid a little more for a longer show.
First time ever seeing icon for hire and I will tell you what, they don't disappoint. They gave there all for the whole show. Loved the fact that we got both an acoustic set and a plugged in set plus a fashion show. The members of the band are so humble and grounded and I love that
It was an intimate, in depth concert. I feel we really got to know them & I'm a loyal fan for life. I can't wait until the next tour.
Icon For Hire puts on an AMAZING show! Ariel has a lot of firepower in her vocals. She can do it all. Sing, scream, rap. As the leader of the band, she brings it every night! The boys are very talented as well and really hit everything spot on! I've been going to a lot of rock concerts and Icon For Hire is on the best ones I've ever seen in my 7 years of concert going. Check these guys out!
I've always been open to new music, and the first time I heard them it was an absolutely mind-blowing moment for me. Musically and vocally their talent is out of this world, and their live show (which I got to see for the first time last night, August 20, 2013 at the Gramercy Theater in New York City) is energetic, and leaves you wanting to see them again... hence why I'm planning a trip to Florida to see them next month. If you're considering seeing them or listening to them or falling in love with them, stop considering and just do it. They're wonderful, and sweet people to boot.
Signed recently by Linkin Park's manager, take notice, they are one the best, fresh, new groups out that deserve a shot at the bigs! With supergirl Ariel on lead vocals ,with her ridiculously awesome voice, (and fashion sense), her lyrics will be enough to blow you away. Most bands can make it on the lead singer alone , but theres more to Icon. Shawn is nothing short of amazing fierce(really, fierce!) on guitar, and Adam on drums is as energetic as a drummer can get! They are simply awesome together and great to see Josh added into the fold, an awesome bassist ! Each performance I've seen is as big and entertaining whether big or small venue. Ariel even had a sinus cold at a small local bar show, but sang it out and left nothing on the table. A totally flawless freshmen debut leaves fans wanting more , so now there's promise of a second cd to keep the party going! As well as an awesome band they all seem very genuine people as well. Shawn just came up to me at a show and started a conversation. Im not anyone special. They are for real , and they keep you wanting MORE!!
Saw them open for P.O.D., Red and Love & Death in May 2012 in Flint, MI. They come out with full force energy, enthusiasm, zeal and excitement. Their positive message and real lyrics will leave you wanting more. They are also humble and down to earth. They'll stop and take a pic and sign autographs for anyone. Great people and musicians. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is that I prefer music a little heavier.
