ICE NINE KILLS IN CONCERT:

Metalcore quintet Ice Nine Kills offers fans a gripping and visceral concert experience that combines heavy rhythms, fiery riffs, and catchy hooks. Singer Spencer Charnas vacillates between guttural screams and soaring melodies as he encourages fans to sing along. The rhythm section doles out beat after pummeling beat of non-stop aggressive fury while guitarist Justin deBlieck delivers face-melting riffs and solos. With song titles like “The Coffin Is Moving” and “Let’s Bury the Hatchet… In Your Skull”, the band reliably delivers a hardcore experience that pulls no punches. Ice Nine Kills is sure to bring their mayhem to the masses in 2015 as their IX Lives Tour hits select North American cities.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

The original incarnation of Ice Nine Kills formed in Boston, MA in 2006 and released their independent debut Last Chance to Make Amends that same year. When several original members quit the lineup, lead singer Spencer Charnas recruited musicians from the recently disbanded post-hardcore group Remember Tomorrow. The new roster got right to work, quickly blostering their growing fan base with a successful run on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour. The group released Safe Is Just a Shadow in 2010 and continued to amass new fans with their fresh, provocative sound. They then earned an opening spot on the 2012 All Stars Tour alongside bands like Suicide Silence, The World Alive, and Dance Gavin Dance. Ice Nine Kill's third album The Predator Becomes the Prey was released in 2014, claiming the top spot on the iTunes Metal Albums chart for the entire first week of its release.

    Best live band!

by INKfan2018 on 11/24/19The Ritz Ybor - Tampa

If you are thinking about going to see Ice Nine Kills live, do not hesitate in the slightest bit because they are 100% worth the money! They put so much heart into their performances and it was such a blast that blew me and my group away! The supporting bands were nice too but Ice Nine Kills killed it when they appeared on stage and I would love to go see them again one day because they sure know how to put on an incredible show! :D

    Ice Nine Kills It!

by Carol V on 11/24/19The Underground - Charlotte

My 2nd INK show. Got to see a couple of new bands..really liked Awake At Last...Light the Torch and Fit For a King...but Ice Nine Kills was the ultimate show. I've never been a huge fan of screaming metal but...there is no way you can't love these guys. They are so talented and creative. It's non stop fun...costumes, sharks, balloons clowns! Voices? Yes they have them and they are amazingly good. Love Bites and Tess-Timony are fantastic examples of their range of talent. They knocked it out of the park by opening with one of my favorite..Thank God It's Friday. The show ender..It Is The End....amazing. If you haven't seen Ice Nine Kills yet you have to soon as you can. I'm telling you...you won't be disappointed.....and this is coming from a 59 year old grandmomma!

    Octane accelerator tour

by Matt on 11/23/19Buckhead Theatre presented by Cricket Wireless - Atlanta

Awesome show. Cool graphics with ice nine kills banner with Jason Friday the 13th on it and Ice Nine Kills got lit up by lot cool lights. Also in the background was freddys hand and clown hand holding balloons for IT movie If you like horror movies very cool songs and graphics for classics like Friday the 13, Halloween and nightmare on elm street along various others IT, scream, saw, the shining, Edward scissorhands, jaws etc. At times he comes out character like with ax for jason, Michael Myers mask, grim reaper in scream, the clown in it, sweater and claws and hat for Freddy etc. very interactive crowd went in crowd at times. Very creative song writing to bring the songs to live help you relive some classic horror movies with great special effects. A very unique experience highly recommend!

    Show was great, but...

by Anon on 11/16/19House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - Houston

Only complaint I have is communicating when the show started. I've gone to shows at the same venue where the advertised shoe start was when the doors open. For this show, it was advertised as starting at 7pm. I show up a few minutes early to find the SECOND ACT IS PERFORMING.

Best show I’ve EVER been to!

by Stranger.phesant on 11/9/19The Depot - Salt Lake City

I have been in love with Terrance Howard since I was 14 years old so to hear him live about killed me! When Ice Nine Kills got on stage it was like they were born for it. Flawless show. I had the best time. About the venue itself? It’s a nice venue, some staff were insanely rude, but the “security” team couldn’t have been nicer, the bartenders were amazing. Overall if Ice Nine Kills comes back I will go, I will go to all of their shows forever. Incredible!
