Ice Cube on Tour
These days, Ice Cube appears more in movies as an actor than as a musician putting down new records, but he still finds time to tour a stage show that's filled with some of the biggest hits in hip-hop history. Ice Cube's library of songs pulls from all of the projects that he's helped take to the top. The West Coast legend can mix it up with jams like "Straight Outta Compton" from his days with N.W.A., "Bow Down" and "Gangsta Nation" from the Westside Connection supergroup songbook and, especially, unmistakable cuts from his solo canon like "Check Yo Self" and "It Was a Good Day." An Ice Cube live show is like a trip through rap history's most pivotal moments, because Cube has been there for it all. Whether he's playing Staples Center in Los Angeles or a casino amphitheater across the country, this is gangster rap in its purest form, from the man who rallied a generation around questioning the sociopolitical system three decades ago — and he's still a damn fine entertainer on stage.
Ice Cube in Concert
In 1969, O'Shea Jackson was born in South Central Los Angeles. He formed the original gangster rap group N.W.A. in 1987 with Dr. Dre, MC Ren, Eazy-E, Arabian Prince and DJ Yella. They released their debut album, Straight Outta Compton, the following year and became arguably rap music's biggest stars. A hip-hop renaissance man to say the least, Ice Cube has gone on to release 10 solo albums (five are platinum certified), and he's sold over 20 million albums worldwide. As an actor, he's starred in films like Boyz n the Hood, Higher Learning and Barbershop, and he's produced and starred in the entire Friday and Ride Along movie franchises. He even coproduced the 2015 N.W.A. biopic with Dr. Dre. As if his stardom needed any more validation, in 2017 he received a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.

I loved it! I havent seen ice cube in concert since i was a teenager,,and 20 years later,, he still is a work of art!!
I thoroughly enjoyed the show. He gives an awesome performance. Very personable with the crowd.
ICE CUBE put on the best show that i have seen in a very long time. He has not changed from his N.W.A. days. He proved that he is still a step ahead of these young artists.
my wife and I attended this concert. It was one of the best rap concerts I've been to in a long time. Very well done, the sound was tight, and he just kept the hits coming. West, West, Y'all!!
Ice Cube and WC we're in a groove that was fun to watch. Center Stage is great venue and the audience was great.
He went back and reminded us of all his hits. Non stop hip hop for ice cube lovers
I was not impressed with the venue overall. It was really dirty the seats were filthy dirty and although there were signs up for smoke free environment, there were people smoking blunts, weed, cigars and cigarretes, and security didn't say anything. Didn't care for Killer Mike either, just not my style of rap music. But Ice Cube was fantastic. The fact that he would perform in a place like that for the price we paid for tickets is extremely commendable. The only thing missing which would have taken over the top was Ice Cube inviting me on stage to rap with him, seeing as though I am his number 1 fan and know just about any song you can think off that he made. I would've paid 150.00 for these tickets. He is a great performer.
Hands down best performance ever! Would have liked someone to help us with our seats.
I AM AN ICE CUBE LOVER!!!! FOR LIFE!!! I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME! LOVED THE VENUE, THE MUSIC... ICE CUBE IS TRUE TO HIMSELF AND HIS FANS!
Pros I like small venues, I was able to see Ice Cube very clearly! The DJ was phenomenal! Dub C was a true hype man! The bling on Cube's converse!!! Cons Kille Mike's performance was not good! Marijuana smoke everywhere! Center Stage needs to do a better security check!
The show was awesome. I had a blast despite the nasty weather going on.
I haven't been to a rap concert this good in a minute! I loved it. Killer Mike was good and even the DJ (DJ Kash) was bangin with the intermission songs. It was like a little Cali party up in there. Everyone was having a good time from 21 years of age to 50! Gotta love Cube and WC:)
Ice Cube was wonderful, LOVE LOVE LOVE the setting and the VENUE was PERFECT! I would not change a thing! Love all the OLD HITS those are always the BEST>
Regardless the numerous movies, TV shows, etc... Ice Cube has not forgotten his true roots!!!! He will forever be die hard Rap/Hip-Hop. I grew up with NWA and listening to them and the numerous other artists back then. That is when Hip-hop was a true art form, Gansta rap was at its best! There has not been anything like it since!!! What these people are calling Hip-hop today is a bunch of garbage for the most part, because they aren't really talking about nothing! Cube talked about real stuff, and I love that he hasn't changed and is still true to himself as one of the BEST who ever did it!!!
I have been to over 75 concerts and Im going to say this was one of my favorite ones. Pitbull was great and I had a lot of fun.
I didn't want the show to end it was an awesome outcome. Pitbull and the rest of he performers were incredible. Best concert I have attended by far this yr.
This show was Great for Old school fans and new fans just like me. I was never reallly a ice cube fan but his live show proved that he is one of the most talented artist out there! Much love to Ice Cube and WC for doing their thang.
I would recommend going to see him it was better than I thought and I wish it would have lasted longer he was only on for about 45mins....
ice Cube put on a GREAT performance and took back old school!!!
