I PREVAIL IN CONCERT:
Post-hardcore punks I Prevail haven't let up since they first grabbed fans' attention with their incendiary cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" in 2014. The band sets itself apart from the pack with a unique mix of raw punk energy, catchy hooks, and electronic textures, and in concert it all gets turned up to 11 with mosh pit-inspiring standouts like "Crossroads", "Love, Lust, and Liars", and "The Enemy". Clean singer Brian Burkheiser carries the melodies on their calm segments before screamer Eric Vanlerberghe unleashes the beast on their savage breakdowns. It's a yin-yang approach that never fails to fire up crowds at their infectiously high-energy live shows. For their Strike the Match Tour in 2016, I Prevail is teaming up with The White Noise and My Enemies & I to bring their memorable choruses and hard-hitting tones to ticket buyers across North America.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Since they first came together in Southfield, MI in 2013, I Prevail has quickly gone from local favorite to viral sensation. The group – initially comprised of Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (scream vocals), Steve Menonian (lead guitar), Jordan Berger (rhythm guitar), and Lee Runestad (drums) – immediately started recording demos following their first rehearsals. Things took off when they released their post-hardcore version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which received over 20 million views on YouTube and was featured on the compilation Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 6. Their 2015 debut EP Heart Vs. Mind garnered more attention for the group, helping them land opening spots for artists like Crown the Empire, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Evil. I Prevail thrilled fans with the announcement of their headlining Strike the Match Tour in 2016, where they brought venues like the Tabernacle to capacity all across the U.S. and Canada.
All 3 bands were fantastic. One of the best concerts I have been to!
When I bought my tickets, I had good seats but the day of the concert I was able to upgrade my tickets so I was even closer, Which I was very happy about because two of the bands I have never seen before and always have wanted to. So when they came out, They were totally amazing, especially I Prevail 100% go see them again. What a great time.
Saw Halestorm for the 4 th time and they never cease to amaze me. This was my first time seeing I Prevail and I am not an even bigger fan. They really killed it!!
Artists line up was phenomenal, staff dealt with me so professionally, even in the heat. Just an awesome experience!
All 4 bands rocked, but I Prevail and Halestorm were absolutely the BEST!I It was sooo very hot outside, but would not have missed it!
I Prevail is one of my favorite bands and I’ve been commenting on their TikTok videos for a couple of years asking them to come to Raleigh and they finally did!! Not only that but they performed with 3 other amazing bands. Best show ever.
I really enjoyed Halestorm and Hollywood Undead!! I liked a few I Prevail songs, but most of it was too screamo for me.
I loved the show so much. Since I’ve started listening to I Prevail, I’ve wanted to see them in concert, and I‘m so glad I had to opportunity to do so. They put on a great show alongside Halestorm, Hollywood Undead, and Fit For A King. I would love to see them live again in the future.
Please realize this is my first time seeing I Prevail. Very creative stage presentation and visual effects. However, I like to differentiate voices and instruments when listening to music. The volume was so loud that it was basically a glob of pulsating sound. The fans of the band probably love it but just not my cup of tea.
This was my first I Prevail show and it was above my already lofty expectations! The clips shown between songs were great introductions to the next songs. Vocals and visuals were outstanding.
This show was absolutely phenomenal! Seeing I Prevail live was on my bucket list! Seeing the other 3 were just icing on the cake!
I originally went to see Hollywood Undead and Halestorm, but I am officially a fan of I Prevail now. They completely rocked the stage! The crowd interaction and song choices were incredible! I had only listened to a few of their songs before this concert, but I will definitely go back for more.
Not really my fav but really enjoyed the show and the bands were really good Halestorm did satisfy my music needs for the evening
This was an awesome show! Halestorm blew the whole thing out of the water with an epic performance but all of the bands were fantastic! I’d definitely jump on a chance to see them again.
The show was absolutely phenomenal. They have great music and put on a great show. They are also great people. Highly recommended!
This was a great show. I Prevail put on an amazing performance with a ton of their top hits. It was a show I wish I could go to again and again.
Gramercy theater is rundown. It smells weird. It's too small of a venue. That show was definitely over capacity with how many people could barely fit in there
There Pittsburg show was incredible! I can’t wait to see them again! The pit was absolutely insane!
I would go to this same concert 1000 times if it was only badflower bad omens and I prevail the last band was only good for an extended bathroom break
Ive saw them so many times since 2016. And they never fail to please me. I will keep seeing them in the future. And I will also support them. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
