I PREVAIL IN CONCERT:
Post-hardcore punks I Prevail haven't let up since they first grabbed fans' attention with their incendiary cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" in 2014. The band sets itself apart from the pack with a unique mix of raw punk energy, catchy hooks, and electronic textures, and in concert it all gets turned up to 11 with mosh pit-inspiring standouts like "Crossroads", "Love, Lust, and Liars", and "The Enemy". Clean singer Brian Burkheiser carries the melodies on their calm segments before screamer Eric Vanlerberghe unleashes the beast on their savage breakdowns. It's a yin-yang approach that never fails to fire up crowds at their infectiously high-energy live shows. For their Strike the Match Tour in 2016, I Prevail is teaming up with The White Noise and My Enemies & I to bring their memorable choruses and hard-hitting tones to ticket buyers across North America.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Since they first came together in Southfield, MI in 2013, I Prevail has quickly gone from local favorite to viral sensation. The group – initially comprised of Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (scream vocals), Steve Menonian (lead guitar), Jordan Berger (rhythm guitar), and Lee Runestad (drums) – immediately started recording demos following their first rehearsals. Things took off when they released their post-hardcore version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which received over 20 million views on YouTube and was featured on the compilation Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 6. Their 2015 debut EP Heart Vs. Mind garnered more attention for the group, helping them land opening spots for artists like Crown the Empire, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Evil. I Prevail thrilled fans with the announcement of their headlining Strike the Match Tour in 2016, where they brought venues like the Tabernacle to capacity all across the U.S. and Canada.
Issues was the show!!! See them everytime in Charlotte, definitely a favorite band of mine. We Will be back when they headline !! The Fillmore & Underground are the places to be on show night in Charlotte!!
This show was lit! One of the best experiences, and we go to a lot of show but I Prevail know how to have a fucking good show! Will definitely be going back their next time around.

Total fan-girl moment! Got VIP tickets to the show and got to meet the band! The show was awesome and we cannot wait to see them next time they are in the area! Also, Eric messing around with the sign language interpreter was hysterical!
I thought the show was great! I prevail, did an amazing job and the other bands were fantastic. Only downside is I’m having trouble accessing my meet and great ticket, if anyone can reach out to me, that would be great!
iPrevail is a killer band. They put on a great show. Well worth the money to see these guys!!!
First the venue: the Fillmore was the perfect cozy middle ground with enough space to mosh and headband without fear of actually banging heads with someone unintentionally. Second the lineup: both justin Stone and ISSUES kept the crowd lively and warmed up for the main event while bringing their own best games to the table in the mean time. The time in between sets was just enough to allow bathroom breaks and drink refills without worry of missing anything. Security kept the hardcore moshers in line and helped injured moshers to the medics in a timely fashion so they could still enjoy the rest of the show. Finally: I Prevail. What. A. Kickass. Show. This is the first time I had seen the band live and holy cow, they KILLED IT. They had great communication with the crowd, their set flowed seamlessly, and their wild energy was infectious. They played new and old favorites, even hailing back to their first album for the hardcore followers. Their encore was just the sweet spot of touching and satisfying. I’d 10/10 recommend the bands, the venue, and the experience.
This concert was awesome. I Prevail puts on an amazing show. The venue was very clean, had a lot of room, and was aesthetically pleasing. It was also quick to get in and out of. Absolutely no complaints about this night from me!
IPrevail always puts on an amazing show but this one topped them all.
I Prevail is consistently one of the best bands to see live and create this atmosphere where you feel like you’re understood no matter what you’re going through. The line. Up for this tour was also perfect with Justin Stone and Issues being able to get the crowd excited for what was to come, both had amazing sets and there was no place I’d rather be that night than in that crowd.
1st time at the The Wellmont. Nice venue. The entertainment space is larger than the Playstation in Manhattan but similar in design. Loved the light effects from the stage and up above the fans all to add to an awesome, live, fun experience. Loved the stage smoke effect as wel.
I prevail was amazing! Even with the lead singer recovering from vocal surgery, they put on an AMAZING performance. I was NOT too impressed with the band "Issues". However, "Justin Stone" was inane! Amazing opening of the show.
Wish they played more in the area, I would see them again!
This show was absolutely amazing. Each performer was so amazing to watch, and I'm so happy that I got to see I Prevail again! The pit got a little crowded, so we were all kind of standing on top of one another, but their performance was so great that it didn't even matter! Can't wait to hopefully see them in Pittsburgh again on their next tour!
Me and my boyfriend went and although he is not a huge fan of metal music he had a great time as well.
Always love the venue. Great acoustics because of the theatre. Check in is always smooth and organized. I Prevail was hands down the best concert I’ve been to. They know how to keep the crowd wanting more and always keeps them involved. Will definitely see them again and will be back to see another concert at this venue for sure

The opening bands were underwhelming compared to other tours I Prevail has had. I prevail, though great, had better shows in the past.
