I PREVAIL IN CONCERT:
Post-hardcore punks I Prevail haven't let up since they first grabbed fans' attention with their incendiary cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" in 2014. The band sets itself apart from the pack with a unique mix of raw punk energy, catchy hooks, and electronic textures, and in concert it all gets turned up to 11 with mosh pit-inspiring standouts like "Crossroads", "Love, Lust, and Liars", and "The Enemy". Clean singer Brian Burkheiser carries the melodies on their calm segments before screamer Eric Vanlerberghe unleashes the beast on their savage breakdowns. It's a yin-yang approach that never fails to fire up crowds at their infectiously high-energy live shows. For their Strike the Match Tour in 2016, I Prevail is teaming up with The White Noise and My Enemies & I to bring their memorable choruses and hard-hitting tones to ticket buyers across North America.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Since they first came together in Southfield, MI in 2013, I Prevail has quickly gone from local favorite to viral sensation. The group ā initially comprised of Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (scream vocals), Steve Menonian (lead guitar), Jordan Berger (rhythm guitar), and Lee Runestad (drums) ā immediately started recording demos following their first rehearsals. Things took off when they released their post-hardcore version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which received over 20 million views on YouTube and was featured on the compilation Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 6. Their 2015 debut EP Heart Vs. Mind garnered more attention for the group, helping them land opening spots for artists like Crown the Empire, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Evil. I Prevail thrilled fans with the announcement of their headlining Strike the Match Tour in 2016, where they brought venues like the Tabernacle to capacity all across the U.S. and Canada.
Best ever. I Prevail, Halestorm Hollywood Undead &Fit for a King. Such a great show!!!!š¤š¤š¤
Been waiting to see I Prevail for a while, they didnāt disappoint. They are great live. Halestorm was incredible too. Lzzy was awesome, a powerhouse! Hollywood Undead, Iāve seen before, were great. So much energy, a party on stage. Love that they always bring kids up to Rock Out! Fit for a King was really awesome and a great start to a beautiful night. Would recommend all these bands and hopefully I get to see them all again!
Didn't know the openers, but damn they put on a show and sounded great! Halestorm and I PREVAIL were EXCELLENT!! The sound was so good; I was so happy! They all mentioned how it was the last show of the tour, and maybe that gave them some extra pep in their steps, cause we rocked the house!
Absolutely excellent show. We had such an amazing time! It was so fun to see them live, I would definitely recommend seeing them to everyone. 10/10 will be going again!
Everything about this show was huge! I could feel the hair on my arms vibrating from the sound. The duet with Eric and Lzzy freakinā blew me away!
I Prevail became one of my go to bands and they didn't disappoint. They out on a fantastic show from start to finish. Can't wait to see them again
What a great show. The venue was perfect and acoustics amazing
Honestly best night, going through the line was breeze and didn't have to wait very long
Perhaps the new generation of hard rock fans will find this new, but for the long time rock fans, it seemed like something out of 80s late time TV horror shows. Music was excellent, love the sound and their guitar tone. Terrific venue. Would recommend both to a hard rock fan.
What a good concert waited in line til they opened up and got my food and drink and headed back to my seat which was nice because it didn't take me long to get to the seat
The entire line up was frickin amazing!! They all could have headlined the event!! Thanks!!
Isleta is a great venue- loud!! Drove from Colorado to see the show! All bands brought it/ so much fun! Lzzyās voice is amazing , I prevail fantastic- all 4 bands were great! Fun times
Isleta amphitheater is always amazing to go to shows at. I just wish they sold dr.pepper lol but other than that the food is amazing and atmosphere is fantastic and all the staff is so nice.
Terrible. A visual experience without the sound to back it up. The best part was when lizzy hale came out and the rest was garbage. The opening act was better.

First time seeing any of these bands in person and having seats as well. Experience was definitely one that will stick with me. I canāt wait to come back!
Granted I have only been to an ampitheater one other time before visiting this one but wow did NC's PNC Ampitheater raise my expectations. Parking was easy with very minimal hassel. It was in designated grassy areas with the occasional gravel patch but was labeled with signs and lights. The food was great! Many items were cooked-to-ordered which guaranteed freshness. We ordered a soft drink which came in a 16 ounce cup you had to pay $10 for BUT you got free refills of that big cup for the entire event. Also the cup was a #1 or #2 plastic meaning it was recyclable in most areas. The waste reciprocals had trash, recycling and compost options and gave examples of what was supposed to go in each for easy use. There was SO MANY staff members! This was a well maintained establishment. There were staff wearing shirts or vests that said "How can I help you?"so you would know exactly who to ask if you needed something. And there were staff cleaning the bathroom and even an attendant outside the facilities just keeping an on everyone. I felt really safe! The seating nice as well, weather-durable theater-style chairs that have to be pushed down to be unfolded. We were able to get seats under the ampitheater's cover, which was nice and had four-blade fans on the ceiling, moving air around. Each seating section had staff attendants making sure people could find there seats and also making sure that people were sitting in the sections they paid for. The merch area was really well handled with 4 lines instead of just one or two. My only complaint is that while the show was awesome, the main act only got to play for 30 minutes. After about 5 songs, they thanked everyone and said that they'd be back. Then they left the stage and the screens lit up with a message that because of the weather, the show was concluded and to please exit the ampitheater and go to your vehicles. I had a great time regardless and would love to go back. By far one of the best concerts I've been to- and I used to live near Nashville where they have venues coming out of their ears.
I Prevail was amazing! Great music and performance. Lighting and other effects were great. Really enjoyed the concert. The band really engaged the crowd as well from the pit to the lawn.
I Prevail puts on a FANTASTIC show. The crowd engagement is there, the pits were huge, and theyāre awesome performers. Some people donāt have it live like they do in the studio, but these guys got it like that.
They entered the stage with so much energy, the light show, the voices, the instruments, all perfectly synchronized! Iāve never enjoyed a show as much as this one! Been a big fan for a long time, this show blew my expectations OUT, OF, THE, WATER! Amazing band, amazing show! Iāve been to many shows, including 3 Buzzfests, at the Woodlands Pavilion, this one exceeds them all, by far!
