About

I PREVAIL IN CONCERT:

Post-hardcore punks I Prevail haven't let up since they first grabbed fans' attention with their incendiary cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" in 2014. The band sets itself apart from the pack with a unique mix of raw punk energy, catchy hooks, and electronic textures, and in concert it all gets turned up to 11 with mosh pit-inspiring standouts like "Crossroads", "Love, Lust, and Liars", and "The Enemy". Clean singer Brian Burkheiser carries the melodies on their calm segments before screamer Eric Vanlerberghe unleashes the beast on their savage breakdowns. It's a yin-yang approach that never fails to fire up crowds at their infectiously high-energy live shows. For their Strike the Match Tour in 2016, I Prevail is teaming up with The White Noise and My Enemies & I to bring their memorable choruses and hard-hitting tones to ticket buyers across North America.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Since they first came together in Southfield, MI in 2013, I Prevail has quickly gone from local favorite to viral sensation. The group – initially comprised of Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (scream vocals), Steve Menonian (lead guitar), Jordan Berger (rhythm guitar), and Lee Runestad (drums) – immediately started recording demos following their first rehearsals. Things took off when they released their post-hardcore version of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which received over 20 million views on YouTube and was featured on the compilation Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 6. Their 2015 debut EP Heart Vs. Mind garnered more attention for the group, helping them land opening spots for artists like Crown the Empire, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Evil. I Prevail thrilled fans with the announcement of their headlining Strike the Match Tour in 2016, where they brought venues like the Tabernacle to capacity all across the U.S. and Canada.

  • Best concert of my life

by Mohawk on 7/14/25JUNKYARD - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Every band was excellent. Every mosh pit was chaotic. My body is covered in bruises. They hurt every way I move and every time they sting I smile thinking of that day, that music, and the friends who gave them to me.

Awesome show, great lineup of artists! High energy and definitely got the crowd involved even at 102 degrees outside, everyone was pumped up.

The show was nice, but the venue is outdoors. So if it's a super hot day, please come hydrated so what happen to me don't happen to you.I ended up having to leave the concert early and get sent to the hospital by the e.M t staff there

This was a great Tour! All the bands brought great energy and had the crowd going! I Prevail killed it on stage, Killswitch Engage brought it, and Parkway Drive delivered!

  • Great show, Live Nation Venues SUCK

by MB on 6/24/25iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm BeachRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great show, 8 incredible artists that could and have all headlined their own tours! Such a well produced and put together show, the bands all sounded great. However, the venue is a LiveNation venue and with that comes LiveNation prices and markups. $7 for a water and $16-23 for a beer. Food is the same price as high end dining, but concession style food. LiveNation needs a reality check and needs to quit being greedy.

  • Great show, room for improvement

by Tony B on 6/24/25iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm BeachRating: 3 out of 5

The bands were excellent. Last band stopped about 1035pm which seems relatively early especially considering each of the 4 "headliners"only played for roughly 50 minutes. The bands were all great, but that seems relatively short considering each band has a good number of hits. Purchased "official platinum"seats with VIP access upgrades. 2 main complaints: 1) the seats did not list "partially obstructed view"( I did see this on other tickets further to the side), all 3 seats definitely had a partially obstructed view. For reference, I was in section 3 row G seats 9-11. 2) The bathrooms in the VIP area are very small and seem to have much longer lines than the regular bathrooms. Otherwise, the food was good, there are lots of options. Plenty of options for drinks as well. It was easy getting in and out of the venue.

  • Mad it ended early

    by RockerGirl3 on 10/19/24PNC Music Pavilion - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Loved fit for a king. LOVED Hollywood Undead. Loved halestorm. LOVED I Prevail. But I was soooo mad the show ended early for no reason. It didn’t even rain that night!
