About

With the 2014 formation of I'm With Her, singer/songwriters Sarah Jarosz, Aoife O'Donovan, and Sara Watkins introduced an essential new force into the world of folk music: a close-knit alliance of highly esteemed musicians, each graced with a deep understanding of folk tradition and unbridled passion for expanding its possibilities. Since delivering their critically lauded debut See You Around and standalone singles like "Call My Name" (winner of the 2020 Grammy for Best American Roots Song), the trio have routinely taken time out from their individual careers to dream up songs together--eventually arriving at a new album exploring themes of ancestry, lineage, and the collective human experience. On their long-awaited sophomore LP Wild and Clear and Blue, I'm With Her now bring their luminous harmonies to a soul-searching body of work about reaching into the past, navigating a chaotic present, and bravely moving forward into the unknown.

In a departure from the stripped-back intimacy of See You Around--a 2018 release that turned up on best-of-the-year lists from the likes of the New York Times--Wild and Clear and Blue centers on a far more elaborate sound informed by the trio's intensified sense of musical kinship. All multi-Grammy-winners with deep roots in the folk scene, Watkins, Jarosz, and O'Donovan first discovered their near-telepathic chemistry during an impromptu performance at the 2014 Telluride Bluegrass Festival, then co-founded I'm With Her and began touring extensively and performing at acclaimed festivals across the globe.

Produced by Josh Kaufman--a member of Bonny Light Horseman and multi-instrumentalist/songwriter/arranger/producer who's worked with Bob Weir and The National--Wild and Clear and Blue ultimately adds a bold new urgency to their delicate entangling of lived-in narrative, fable-like storytelling, and nuanced reflection on cycles of life.

  • Great performance. Less than great sound

by BostonTom on 11/11/25Boch Center Shubert Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Both I'm With Her and their opening band, Ye Vagabonds played beautifully, sang with passion and virtuosity, and delivered all the reasons why live music is so great. The negative: we were seated a few rows back in the balcony of the Schubert Theater and the sound mix/quality there was never better than mediocre and at times descended into the truly bad. The voices did not separate from the instruments; solos/embellishments were muffled; it was often almost impossible to hear the lyrics that other live recordings demonstrate the performers deliver with precision and distinction. It might have been better in the orchestra, but we will never buy tickets upstairs in this theater again.

  • Loved the show!

by BB on 11/11/25Boch Center Shubert Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The musicians were fabulous. The show was terrific. I did wish it started earlier, since there was an opening act.... Despite this, it was a wonderful evening. Great entertainment for fans of Americana and Bluegrass/folk music.

  • Outstanding!

Outstanding! Each of these artists is great on their own and when they come together with their harmonies, musicianship, heartsjj, and souls it is truly uplifting and magical.

  • Blend of old and new material.

by LaDair on 11/11/25Boch Center Shubert Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

I know that artists must promote their new material to encourage sales. But, fans have come to the concert to hear the songs they love and are familiar with. I would have preferred that they perform a more equal balance of old and new material.!

  • absolutely stunning

by Joseph from France on 11/11/25Boch Center Shubert Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The show performed by Sara, Aoife and Sarah was a pure moment of magic. They have a special way to blend their voices in wonderful vocal harmonies, not to mention they are among the very best folk-americana root singer-songwriters for years. I'll never forget that moment in Boston during which they shared so much of their warmth, talent and joy to play together with the audience.

  • 3 gals sing & play as one!

    by 2Tall4u on 10/18/25Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

I had heard a couple of songs by this band on KBCO. Their harmonies intrigued me so when I saw that "I'm With Her"was scheduled to play at the Denver Paramount, I purchased pre-sale tix. I invited a dear friend who plays guitar & sings at Open Mics around Denver metro & is familiar with Sarah Watkins. The two of us also sing harmonies on occasion so we really appreciate this group's fantastic 3 part harmonies. These 3 gals mesh wonderfully with fantastic harmonies & instrumentals. You would think they were triplets! I'd see them again!

  • Great concert, beautiful venue, questionable seating

by Emelia on 10/18/25Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

First off, I’m With Her was FANTASTIC and I’m so glad they came to Denver! The Paramount Theater is a beautiful and classic venue and I would definitely see a show here again. However, I would probably avoid the orchestra section. We had folding chairs instead of regular seats, which is typically fine, but the chairs were placed so unnecessarily close together that I was touching the strangers next to me for the duration of the concert and it was difficult for people to come and go from the row without everyone exiting for them. There was ample space for the chairs to be spaced out at least enough to not be touching, which would have made my experience a little more comfortable. Overall great show and great venue, but seating was a little uncomfortable!

  • Excellent! SuperStar Band of Talent!

by Dan on 10/16/25The Egyptian Theatre - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

I loved everything about this concert! The musical and vocal talents of these three ladies is astounding and when all three together with such a well planned and coordinated set, it was magic! And I love the Egyptian Theatre! It is wonderful acoustics and viewing from any seat. Perfect!
