The Huntsville Ballet Company and Huntsville Symphony Orchestra once again put together an unforgettable performance living up to the tradition and fame associated with the Nutcracker ballet. Transitions were seamless, performers were flawless, and the music was extraordinary. The characters, which span the entire age spectrum, make the show entertaining and enjoyable for audience members of all ages. The new backdrops used this year added even more class and artistic quality to the performance, and the bar continues to be raised each year. If you missed the show this year, you need to make a note to attend next year - it is sure to be just as excellent and then some.

I have attended "The Nutcracker" four times over the past ten years and this was by far the best performance. Beautiful scenery, costumes were spectacular and the dancing was excellent! My granddaughter, who is five, never moved a muscle the whole performance.

A great performance, musicians were great as well as the performers. A very nice evening. It would be hard to pick out one moment that stood out, since the entire evening was great. You could easily tell that the young folks worked hard and prepared well.

Heve seen the Nutcracker in many venues over my lifetime and I love Huntsville 's presentation. Live symphony and special effects were outstanding. Costumes were beautiful. Artistic direction of the dancers and choreography superb. Thoroughly enjoyed matinee with my granddaughter her first live Nutcracker experience!
