BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
After their songs “The Power of Love” and “Back in Time” were both featured prominently in the 1985 sci-fi classic Back to the Future, Huey Lewis and the News were all but assured a place as one of the most defining acts of the decade. They delivered on that promise, topping the album charts with Sports in 1983 and Fore! in 1986 and racking up some of the era's seminal hits with “I Want a New Drug,” “Hip to Be Square,” and “Stuck With You."
We were very pleased to see Huey Lewis and the News. All the musicians were so talented. Huey and the News seemed to genuinely love performing and the fans loved them. Hearing their hits, as well as a few new songs, was great. Would definitely like to see them again.
Huey and the News did not disappoint. They performed a lot of older tunes and some new ones. I would go again.
Huey and his band still got it! I was not expecting as much as I got but am so glad I finally got to see them live. It was great to run back to the 80s and relive those simple days when the world seemed much easier to be living in. I have already told friends to get out and see Huey Lewis & The News!
Huey is always good (I've probably seen him 10 times). The venue was a little disappointing in that we had front row seats, but could only see part of the stage because of the angle.
My husband and I went to the show on September 8th at the Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, MI. They sounded fantastic. Every song was a perfect throw back to 30 years ago. Huey was spot on and delivered with passion. The band was exceptional and played with their hearts. Will see him again. Also, his new album sounds great.
Huey has not lost anything over the years. The concert was exceptional. They played almost all of their hits and several new songs that were very good. My wife was very happy!
Huey and the band gave a great performance, very personable and new and old songs. Rocked the house. The Four Winds Event Center is fantastic with a perfect amount of people and yet still cozy and enjoyable!

Had a great time at the concert. Huey Lewis puts on an amazing show and we really enjoyed the four song encore. Highly recommend seeing him whenever possible. Love the venue--not a bad seat in the house.

What a great concert at the Four Winds Casino in New Baffalo, MI! Huey and the guys haven't lost a beat -- They sounded as great as they did back in the 80's -- made me feel like I was "back in time!" (Sorry, couldn't resist ;) ) The venue was great, sound was great, had an fantastic time!
Huey Lewis and The News sounded very good. They played some of their new material (which sounded very good as well) and of course played all the hits. Very nice to see them in a small venue like the Genesee Theatre.
Show was a good mix of old and and new songs. Was very entertaining and as usual with good music you did not want it to end.

I would say the show was about an hour and a half so a bit on the short side, as they came out late. Seemed like Huey struggled with his voice, maybe he was hoarse from an earlier show. Good show, the songs were old classics and some great new songs, too. Nothing spectacular, I am sad to say. Horns are always a favorite!
Huey & the News keep the energy up, the crowd engaged and the music coming non stop! A new lead guitarist has helped to reinvigorate and power up some of the standards. A brief A-Capella interlude really showed the harmony that the band has. The Genesee is a great location and Huey took full advantage of the acoustics.
Amazing concert! Loved their sound and performance. A couple of their new songs were sprinkled in with their many hits. My husband and I will definitely be seeing them again when they return!
The band was tight. Huey is an energetic front man. He played many of his hits, a few tunes from his new cd and an acapella version of Lookin for Love. Alll were great tunes. They sounded great and looked like they stilll love their craft. Glad I finally got to see them.
