PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!! Want to do it again!!! Will try and see him again this summer!!!

Surprisingly, the crowd wasn't very big and the show was very intimate. Howie's performance was amazing and very enjoyable. He seemed amicable, down to earth and friendly when he spoke from the stage. Since the crowd was so small, it would have been awesome to actually meet him but he did not come out afterwards. He is so talented & has a great voice . He is very innovative by making his own background sounds with the recorder thing . My husband saw him in a college cafeteria in upstate NY 13 years ago and he did that then. We were very glad to see he is still using it, even though he has a great band with him now of a keyboardist, a cellist, and a percussionist . We would definitely see his show again and hope it's not too long until we do!!

Howie Day played in the Cambridge Room which is a small standing room only venue. He had a cello player with him which is a new twist as he usually plays alone. His looping and sampling always makes for a unique show and he did not disappoint me. Hoping he puts out another album soon.

This is a very talented young man with great stage presence and really great songs. Performing with cellist and an array of looping devices he constructs songs before your eyes and ears. Really could have listened all night. The only negative here is the 30-somethings that attend these type of shows. Hint: Shut up. We really don't care about your day as you try to be heard above the music.

My wife and I really enjoyed the show. Howie Day is a great talent (singer, musician, song writer, stage presence, etc.). His band was very good as well. And, the venue was awesome (small, intimate, new, clean, nice bar, etc.). "Stop All the World Now" is a top 10 album of all time for me, so hearing that music live was awesome. I enjoyed the other material he played as well. Would definitely love to see him again live.

Howie is always incredible and this show was no exception. The past couple of shows he has had a full band, which is different from years past in which is was just him (initially) and then with a keyboard player. I think the band definitely fleshes out the music, although I do miss hearing more of the pedals/loops. I try to catch him every time he is in and around Boston, I can't I imagine getting tired of seeing him.

This show was amazing and at a great venue. Intimate setting with great music.

This was my mom and I's sixth time seeing Howie Day and our second time seeing him at the Birchmere. As always, the food and service were great, and Howie Day did an amazing job. The only problem was that his set wasn't long enough!

This was the first time I'd seen Howie Day perform. I got turned on to his music through Pandora and found myself loving most of his stuff. His live performance was powerful and really brought the music alive. The intimate venue was perfect! I will definitely see him again... worth every penny!!

Howie always puts on an amazing show. His talent is self-evident and he puts forth his whole effort to give a good performance. Even though he is incredible on his own, I love that he has been doing shows with other musicians--keyboards, drums, cello. The band really enhances the music, filling it out in a different way than the loops do. I also enjoyed the venue--a large open space near the stage with some seating upstairs that reminds me of the Paradise or a small House of Blues.

The Sinclair is a great new venue in the heart of Harvard Square. The layout reminds me of The Paradise: a large open floor before the stage with raised seating and tables on the balcony. It's impossible to have a bad view of the show anywhere within the venue. There are several bars, large, clean bathrooms, a nice restaurant, and friendly staff. Howie Day played with three other band memebrs to play many songs from his upcoming album as well as some classic originals. During one break, the Cellist played a solo song, and during another, it was just Howie, his guitar, and his pedals. This is the moment when he truly shines, by looping beats and riffs and building into a master composition.

Howie Day had many heartfelt song renderings. He, twice, created one man band song stylings, that I had never experienced before. Quite a talent.

This is the first time that I have attended a concert at the Birchmere. What a great up close and personal venue! I will be going back there any chance I can get! I have seen Howie Day in concert before and was amazed that he was just as good and even better than he was the last time that I saw him! I can't wait to see him again, I hope that he comes back here soon!

I saw Howie Day (finally) Saturday night. I have been waiting forever for him to tour other than the new England states or NY. He was absolutely without a doubt awesome! His ability to do a riff, record it, do another, record it , etc, then play over it is amazing! He has been my favorite for years now, and I am so happy I got to see him live, and it was on my birthday too! The birchmere was the perfect place to see him!

Howie Day like always was awesome. It was really cool to see him with some more musicians on stage. Got to hear some songs he usually couldn't do without accompaniment. Howie seemed alittle under the weather and we could hear on his voice a little. But it was a great show I've all!

The opener was terrible. Howie Day was incredible. His recorded music is pretty good, but live he just blows you away. He and the other two guys that were on stage with him had a blast, which made it even more fun. His use of footpedals showcases his tremendous talent.

I have seen Howie many many times, in all sorts of venues, acoustic, with a band, headlining, opening, and even for free once in Copley Plaza in Boston. He NEVER ever disappoints. His voice is always spot on, he's always engaging, and - he always interacts with the audience. ALWAYS. You don't find many artists like that these days. I don't just mean a hello or a thank you, I mean jokes, laughter, poking fun at himself constantly, and sometimes at the audience too. He's just entertaining all around. And his voice and songs are so chill, so fun, and he is oh so talented. Not to mention - he signed shirts and what not afterwards...and took pictures with you if you asked.... ;o)

Howie just keeps getting better and better. He is so amazingly talented--his voice, the guitar, the pedals. He also really wants to connect with the audience and he is funny and self-deprecating. All around just an amazing performer--I'm in awe every time I see him. He was opened by My Silent Bravery (which was okay) and Owen Beverly (who was great). I will see him whenever he comes close enough to Boston.

This was one of the best shows I have ever been to! He is very interactive with the audience and puts on a great show. HIGHLY recommended.
