Great Show, Terrible Venue Crowd Control

by Cross on 7/28/19Chevalier Theatre - Medford

The show was amazing and the hosts are all so funny and we would absolutely go see them again anytime! But the theater seemed to have a big problem with getting people in on time and seated because it ran an hour late, and the late show didn't start until 9:45pm which meant we didn't even get started until 10:30-10:40pm. We were in line to get inside at 9:10pm but the line didn't start moving inside until close to show start time. Either the theater needs more staff or they need to allow more time for seating because their crowd control efforts were very underwhelming.

Show was great, venue not the best

    by K. on 7/28/19Chevalier Theatre - Medford

Saw HDTGM at the Chevalier Theatre in Medford, MA. The show was really great. Paul, June and Jason did a great show despite a horrible movie and a horrible venue. The bar ran out of Co2, so the couldn’t make any mixed drinks - unless you wanted them flat. The alcohol was way overpriced... two beers and a glass of wine was $55 somehow. Although they assured us that the air conditioning was on, it was still about 100 degrees in the sold out show. Staff was nice and helpful, but the theater really needs some updating.

Show was fantastic, the venue, not so much.

by Scribbles on 7/28/19Chevalier Theatre - Medford

Title pretty much says it all. Loved the show, despite the lack of adequate air conditioning, comfortable seating and the strong feeling I was sitting in a high school auditorium. Love the show and podcast so much, it didn’t matter.

    Fun show, venue meh

by Ann on 7/26/19The Met Philadelphia - Philadelphia

We really enjoyed the HDTGM live show, the movie of the night was Double Dragon and Paul/June/Jason were hilarious. A very cool experience and we can’t wait to hear this episode as a podcast to see the differences. The venue however had partially obstructed views that were not highlighted during ticket process, so we paid almost 75$ for an obstructed view. The show started 20min late, but went well over half an hour long.

    Great show, Bad seat

by Hoserama on 7/15/19The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Great show from top to bottom. Front row loge, seats were on small side and bit broken (left side of seat anchored about 3-4 inches below the right). Overall, the seats were rather uncomfortable and could use some love.

    Excellent

    by A. S. on 7/15/19The Wiltern - Los Angeles

So much better in person! Loved how down to earth they are and how Paul just comes down into audience. The wiltern was very charming and although every seat had a great view they were a bit small like an airplane. The prices of drinks are outrageous so better to eat and drink somewhere else before show unless you don’t mind $20 mini drinks. Overall it was fantastic and will definitely do again now knowing what to expect.
