it had some nice boats an autos

by Storms on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

I enjoyed the show but the Arena was too small, it would have been better in the George Brown Convention Center. Also, the food and drinks were way to expensive! I was surprised though that the parking was very organized, I didn't expect that.

    Kind of disappointing

    by J. K. on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

This was my first time at the Auto Show. I used to always go to the Boat/RV show. I did want to see the Unibody trucks. Glad to see everything at one location. I bought a boat at this show back in '94. The Boat/RV/Outdoor portion was disappointing. This year there was only RV vender and the RV's practically the same just different lengths. There were only 4 sailboats! There was a lack of outdoor venders.

Nice having boats and cars there.

by Scott P. on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

Not enough classics present for my son and I to see.

    Wow

by Ds on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

For the price…not worth it. I know Covid was the blame for some vendors not being there, but price was to much for what was there.

    Not what I expected

by Tito on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

For some reason it felt boring and family like cars where there wasn’t any excitement about the show. I go to a free car show somewhere on a park lot of Houston and get more fun out of it. Don’t waste gas money to see SUV vehicles.

    Auto Show? What Auto Show?

by D Johnson on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

My wife and I were both severely disappointed in this years Auto Show. We are both in the market for new vehicles and wanted to compare manufacturers offerings. Ford only had last years 2021 model Epedition available to sit in. Both GMC and BMW were MIA, as well as several others. If they can't be bothered to show up at the Auto Show, I guess I won't be bothered to buy their vehicles. What a shame, and a total waste of my time and money.

    Was Ok

by Honest Customer on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

Did a day trip from San Antonio, wasn’t really worth it to me. I expected so much more. I didn’t want to see boats - so if there were more cars where all the boats were, that would have been WAY better. I went over to the boat side, and it was a ghost town anyway. Get rid of the boats, get more dealers and cars in there. Get rid of the massage chair vendors and get real car accessory vendors there. Man, it was like a pandemic event, can’t get a whole lot of participation, but let’s just wing it just to have it, it’ll suck compared to what it’s supposed to be like, but let’s have it anyway.. kind of event. Just being brutally honest.

    Disappointed

by Alyssa on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

The auto show was such a disappointment. There was none of the brands I wanted to see such as Audi, Volvo, and no luxury brands. Some of the makers didnt even have power to their vehicles. It was all together a waste of money.

    Boat show

by Lake Girl on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

This wasn’t like the boat shows in the past. The high end boats dealers weren’t at the show so we didn’t get to see what we were shopping for. Definitely missing out not have Mastercraft and Bennington. I was disappointed

by Chfults on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

I ordered three tickets from Ticketmaster instead of waiting in long lines at the booth

    Small but understandable

by Daniel on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

Just thought there would be more cars and manufacturers. Even within the brands, thought there would be more to look at. Clearly Covid still has its influence. Hopefully bigger and better next year!

    Highly Disappointed

    by M. Jaffe Jof-fer on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

This was the absolute worst Houston Auto Show I've been to over the last 4 years, the biggest lot belonged to Subaru of all auto makers, I didn't see not 1 Mercedes, Acura, BMW, Infiniti and many other fine auto makers, a complete waste of time and money.

    Auto boat show

by Nowactive on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

Not only was it a car / boat show they had campers and classic cars. The car ride on the man made by Jeep and Chrysler was entertaining. I liked seeing the Yamaha Marine booth.

Missing lot of good car companies

by Jesse on 2/2/22NRG Center - Houston

I was there mainly for Auto show, since i don't have lot of interest in boats. Lot of car companies were missing, i wish they separate Auto and boat show as these are 2 different interests and add more variety to each.

Finally! We can get out of the house!

by NR on 5/26/21NRG Center - Houston

I was so glad the car show returned this year. We really needed something to do to get out of the house. The show was a bit smaller than previous years but that's to be expected due to COVID-19. We didn't see as many dealers as years past but we noticed that there was one vendor that's a Houston Home & Garden Show regular which was the outdoor kitchen displays. I hope going forward there will be more auto accessory vendors. In addition to that, I wish they would move more toward contactless payments (ie. Google, Apple Pay, Smartwatch or any other NFC technology enabled device). It's easier to pay with a phone or watch than to carry a card or cash. I figure if they can accept the card then they should upgrade to a contactless payment device. Hopefully next year the show will be back to it's pre-COVID luster.

    Unfortunately less than stellar

    by M. C. on 5/25/21NRG Center - Houston

I have been attending for many years. I am not sure I will continue going forward as it isn't worth the time or money.

    Terrible

    by D. D. on 5/24/21NRG Center - Houston

What a horrible show. No Audi, no MINI, no Volvo, no Tesla, a lame BMW showing. The only thing worth seeing was the Bronco and Jeep displays. Not worth the price of admission plus an outrageous $15 for parking. Houston, you suck.
