About House of Blues Gospel Brunch
House of Blues Gospel Brunch Live
A high-spirited event that has become a treasured tradition in Las Vegas and nationwide, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch offers the best kind of nourishment for bodies and souls every Sunday. Visitors can enjoy traditional and contemporary songs by local gospel performers and national touring groups while digging into the House of Blues' signature all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet of Southern-inspired favorites.
This tradition of combining soul-stirring performances and great food began over two decades ago at the original House of Blues location in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Gospel Brunch soon became a well-loved staple in Las Vegas when the House of Blues opened its seventh location with a 600-seat restaurant and 1,800-capacity music hall at the Mandalay Bay Resort Casino in 1999.
Along with the iconic fried chicken and waffles, the Gospel Brunch menu regularly features such items as prime rib, cornbread, grits, jambalaya and a style-your-own omelette station. Even more exciting than what's on your plate is what's onstage. A 90-minute nondenominational musical celebration, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch is an exuberant experience that the whole family can experience.
House of Blues Gospel Brunch Background
A Sunday morning celebration like no other, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch has been a world-famous tradition for over two decades. It's easy to see why it's such a treasured part of the history of the House of Blues, which grew out of founder Isaac Tigrett's dream to introduce the world to the music, art and food of the rural south. Tigrett opened the House of Blues' first location in a converted, historic house in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1992. The Gospel Brunch soon became part of the House of Blues' reliable menu of great food and entertainment.
In 1999, the Gospel Brunch tradition came to Las Vegas when House of Blues opened a 600-seat restaurant and 1,800-capacity music hall in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Featuring a unique combination of all-you-can-eat buffet with Southern-inspired favorites and a family-friendly, nondenominational 90-minute show of contemporary and traditional songs performed by local gospel talents and national touring acts, the House of Blues Gospel Brunch became a favorite of visitors and locals.
In 2013, the House of Blues enlisted gospel superstar Kirk Franklin to reimagine the Gospel Brunch — with spectacular results. The House of Blues Gospel Brunch continues to be an unforgettable way to celebrate the day.

Food was great, entertainment was wonderful! Can’t wait to go back!
We had such a great time. Very interactive and exciting. It was my mothers 80th Birthday. She had a blast. The brunch was much more than expected. Delicious!
Great event ! Gospel group was better than I was expecting. Brunch Also great , good selection of food items . Food was excellent ! Highly recommend this event. My wife and I will go back !
It was a great experience, the voices, the energy that singers transmitted was unique, we loved the brunch.
This was a spirit filled, soul raising experience. The Sons and Soul and the lead female singer were a BLESSING!!!! I can't recommend this event enough. Blessings from GOD.
Great venue. Elevated stage makes it easy to see performers. We were sitting at one of the long tables. Comfortable seating. Performers very engaging. Very friendly staff. Good food. My only complaint is there wasn't enough variety in the buffet. We attended the 1:00 performance.

The performers and music were spectacular. I would do this again in a heartbeat. We especially enjoyed the omelette bar.
Great event but the food lines should be coordinated better
The music and food were amazing. One thing you could improve upon would be to not have the tables so tightly packed in. It was impossible to get out of our seats.
The food was extremely cold and I was disappointed in the quality
First the food was terrible —- it was cold & not good in general. The singers were not as good as I expected. They were ok but not great !!! The seating was very cramped !!! Not worth the 50.00 per ticket at all !!!
What a fun way to spend Sunday morning! A bit of gospel, some great music, and a good brunch.
In Vegas on my birthday and saw this show and was very excited to be attending again. Pros: music was good. The choir sang more Contemporary Gospel songs and not the Traditional Gospel songs. There was crowd participation, but not a lot. They wanted you to stand alot, which was not good since the seats where so close and one would be basically be over peoples food. Cons: doors did not open until 10am to move the crowd downstairs to be seated. I felt rushed. The picture lady took pictures before the event and when we went to get back in line we were not in the same place; at the end of the show I did not have my picture so I had to go and search for it. The food lines were long and the food was not very good. It was cold and hard. Overall this 2nd experience was a 4; where the first was a 10.
We were shown to our tables and got.into the buffet line. Make our way back to table and man yells us we were at wrong table. I repeat which we were seated at. Ok we stand withmour plates now full if cold food and are taken to our tables and he moves table.next to ours. We were.party of 3 as we had purchased this ticket as surprise for our visitor from out of state. The table move put her directly in front of a beam that was obstructing view of stage. Btw another party was at one of our tables but were.not asked to move. Cold food which i could stomach was good. Brisket was quite good as it was hot! Was totally disappointed with this exoerience. Same man offered us complimentary mimosa. It was not good. We should.have.been reimbursed for all of our inconveniences. The concert was very good So saving grace. Audience participation was very fun. Pllease get better organized.
It was great to be able to get my praise on in Vegas & celebrate my sis in law 70th birthday all at the same time!
