    Hotel California is Awesome!

by IndianaHoosier on 10/4/10Emens Auditorium - Muncie

Oh my gosh, this group is absolutely incredible! No wonder they're the number one tribute group to the Eagles! We would recommend this group to anyone who loves the Eagles but doesn't want to spend $100+ to see the real thing. Hotel California is absolutely awesome!!

I was hesitant on going because I like the Eagles so much and thought why would I want to see another band impersonating them. I decided to get tickets because my husband had mentioned it to me and it was the day before his birthday. I was quite surprised, they were VERY GOOD. I liked it because they had their own style and didn't try to be the Eagles. It was nice to hear all of the Eagles songs and they really put on a great show. It was fun they got people up on their feet dancing and singing. I would absolutely go see them again.

    Hotel California was FANTASTIC!

by Irishnurse on 2/8/10Turning Stone Resort & Casino Showroom - Verona

We had never seen a tribute band and didn't know what to expect - but we NEVER expected them to be this good! If you closed your eyes, you would think you were at an Eagles concert! The drummer/lead singer's vocals were perfect.

    Not what was expected

by scrabus44 on 2/7/10Turning Stone Resort & Casino Showroom - Verona

We saw Hotel California here in June 2008 and were expecting that group from California when we bought tickets. This foursome was from Canada. Although they were good we felt we were mislead. The quality was not up to the quality we saw in 2008. It should have been noted in advertising that this was not the same band, even though they use the same name. Lead guitar player hear tried to look fancy instead of concentrating on playing. His part in end solo of "Hotel California" was way off key and did not harmonize with other guitar.

    Hotel California's Harmonies were Captivating

by Sheikfreak on 2/7/10Turning Stone Resort & Casino Showroom - Verona

I'm a TRUE TRUE Eagles fan having seen them three times but Hotel California were surprisingly good! They opened with "The Long Run" & when I heard the drummer start singing you could have sworn it was Don Henley. Their performance of "Wasted Time" was remarkable. I think in the early years Don Henley's voice was more raspy so the earlier classics like "Best Of My Love" weren't as believeable. Although when they did "Witchy Woman" if I closed my eyes I could have sworn it was the Eagles! Probably one of my favorite performances of the evening was "Seven Bridges Road". Not at the top of the list as an Eagles favorite but they were HEAD-ON with vocals but especially with their harmonies. It was a packed house & by the reaction from the crowd they were truely loved!!! I will definately be back to see them again!

I am fine with the show. I have no regrets about going and enjoyed it very much. My problem is with the last minute change of VENUE. When I booked my tickets, I knew the facility very well and decided to pay for PREMIUM seats. Had I known the concert would be held in a MUCH smaller facility, I would have paid much less money and enjoyed the show just the same. Extremely disappointed with the amount of money i spent !!
