The glitz of Sin City meets the razzle-dazzle of Broadway in HONEYMOON IN VEGAS, an uproarious new musical with a book by Andrew Bergman, music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, and direction by Garry Griffin.
HONEYMOON IN VEGAS tells the story of Jack Singer (Rob McClure), a regular guy with an extraordinary fear of marriage, who finally gets up the nerve to ask his girlfriend Betsy (Brynn O’Malley) to marry him. But when they head to Las Vegas to get hitched, smooth talking gambler Tommy Korman (Tony Danza), looking for a second chance at love, falls head over heels for Betsy. Bet the house on this insanely funny new musical full of skydiving Elvises, sexy chorus girls, red-hot romance… and really cold feet.

The show was fun and a terrific outing of entertainment.
Show was terrific. Spectacular Settings. Fun Story. Great Talent. So Sorry it has to close.
The show was great, music and singing all great, but I would have liked at the end maybe a meet and greet ....maybe Tony signing autographs
I knew nothing about this show except that Tony Danza was in it, so I went. He was well cast for his role as a selfish, aging (sorry) mobster used to getting whatever he wants when he wants it. Terrific singing, dancing and acting by the entire cast, especially Tony's sidekick who only had one brief musical number, but it shined. Very funny lyrics and hilariously entertaining story line. Just needs a song to remember. But I'll never forget the finale with the Elvis impersonators. I really hope it finds a home in a theater in Las Vegas because it is the first musical in a long time I want to see twice.
My son and I loved the show so much we came two times. Brynn and Robert were amazing. The entire ensemble were so talented and really fed off each other to bring the most entertaining show I've seen in years. The technical parts of the show and the live orchestra rocked this show. Everyone connected to this show was truly talented. I'm so sorry it's closing tomorrow. To everyone in the cast, crew, backstage, orchestra, thank you so much for the entertaining show and good luck with your next show.
Great show; masterful score; Jason Robert Brown's score is as clever as anything Comden & Green ever wrote; wonderfully sung and acted; much better than the movie it is based on; great energetic performances by McClure, Danza and the lovely Bryne O'Malley. shame Nederlander did not know how to merchandise what should have been a big hit.
You go to a show like this because TV is coming out of your ears. Three or four numbers are each almost worth the price of admission. It ain't Shakespeare, but it's funny dynamic song/dance/gags. A happy time. Afterward I spoke to an usherette heartbroken to learn that very morning the show is closing soon. What a shame. This past winter killed shows and even a few restaurants, I think.
Great CAST+ GREAT SHOW= AWESOME TIME! SO MUCH FUN!
My girlfriend and I loved this play. It was side splitting funny. We loved Tony Danza, jack & Betsy
Wonderful, light-hearted, funny musical epitomizing what Broadway should be all about. The audience leaves singing and smiling. Tony Danza is terrific!
I went with 3 other persons and we all loved it! Laughed a lot!
Absolutely wonderful show. Seeing Tony Danza was great. I was one to never miss an episode of Who's the Boss.
Tony Danza was very impressive and made us feel like he was a true mob boss. The supporting actors added to the realism of the show. I did not want to end!
After reading the reviews of the shows opening in NY and Paper Mill I was looking forward to seeing the show in person. It was ok--nothing special, not the music or the very predictable plot, although Bryn O'Malley and Rob McClure were good in the lead roles. Just a so so show.
I wouldn't say that this musical knocked my socks off (like, say, Kinky Boots did); but it was great fun, especially the flying Elvis's scene. It was nice to see Tony Danza, but singing is not his strong suit. With so much competition on Broadway, I think it's doing the best it can. The audience seemed to be enjoying it, and , as I said, my husband and I did too.
I was able to see this show in January with my girl friends and we had a blast. Hilarious and definitely entertaining. Was back in NYC the last weekend in March with my college friend and her daughters (15y and 12y) we were able to get tickets and they loved it as well!!! So much fun and laughter throughout the entire show.
What a wonderful 2-1/2 hours this was. This show was so much fun, we haven't laughed this much in a long time. My husband and I would see it again just to have fun again. The music, theme and actors were great.
This is a light and enjoyable show, with good visuals, nice pace and a lively cast. None of the musical numbers are particularly memorable but taken together, they make for a fun and pleasant musical. This show may not have any hit songs, but if you want a true Broadway musical experience without paying through the nose for it, this is a very good choice that you won't regret.
Tony Danza and the rest of the cast nailed it! Tony tap dancing toward the end was special.
