  • Homeward Bound - Paul Simon @ Pantages

What an awesome celebration to Paul Simon. Great venue for this event. Enjoyed every second. Loved all the performances and special guest appearances. An evening to remember!

  • It was great

It would have been nice to have a written program. Since we were not allowed to even make notes on our phone it would have been nice to make notes of who sang which Paul Simon songs.

  • Once in a lifetime experience!!

I cannot believe how much talent graced one stage in one night!!! So glad I went and cannot wait to see the show when it airs on TV later this year.

  • Most Amazing Show

by Wilf on 4/10/22Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

The stars that came out to pay tribute to Paul Simon were amazing. Huge talent and so much fun, Stevie Wonder was my favourite or was it Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. I loved the duet Paul Simon did with the banjo player(wish I could remember her name!) I look forward to seeing this on TV!

  • Noisy Photography

The show was excellent. I love the venue. The special guests where off the hook. The one complaint I have was the noise of the still photography camera shutters during the show. They make camera boxes to quiet the noise of shutters for these cameras. There was a live audience, some who paid an awful lot of money to be there only to hear the constant clicking of the cameras. It was paparazzi silly. Click, click, click, during mellow Paul Simon songs. Way to ruin a great night of incredible performances.

  • disappointed, they should pay the audience!

this was promoted as a concert but in actuality it was a taping of a tv special with compulsory audience participation. numerous stops and starts, and performers seemed to be surprised to be asked to do their songs over. i was embarrassed for what appeared to be a producer humiliating some of our music legends. what could have been a special and most enjoyable concert and tribute to paul simon was actually just a tv shoot, taking away any joy or celebration of this musical icon that should have occurred. i give it 3 stars only because the music itself, when that was happening, was of course great.

  • This TV taping should have been free!

Shouldn't tickets be free when one goes to the taping of a TV show? I'm not sure why this show was that much different than any other show that is designed to air on TV. The "audience" in these type of settings are asked to be part of the show. We are asked to applaud, we sit through 2 or 3 performances of the same song, we wait patiently between sets, and sometime we can't see all that well because there are cameras in the way, or the "seat-fillers" are shuffling in front of you constantly. Granted, it was my choice to pay (almost $300 a ticket), and it was a great evening of music and a great tribute to Paul Simon, but it seems like the producers are double-dipping a bit here.

  • AMAZING AND WONDERFUL!!!

TOOK MY HUSBAND FOR HIS 85TH BIRTHDAY AND WE KNEW ALL THE WORDS TO ALL THE SONGS. SUCH A WONDERFUL EVENING FOR EVERYONE IN THE WHOLE PLACE. We last saw Paul Simon at Dodger stadium, with our two young daughters,Thank you for the best of the best,

  • Amazing show with so many great artists

by DomYam on 4/9/22Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This was a really cool concert with so many legendary artists paying tribute to Paul Simon. It was taped for TV so some performances had to be done over. But that was awesome because we got to see more of the great performers.

  • Beyond Amazing!

by Cici on 4/9/22Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Unbelievably exciting night! To see so many talented artists, many of them legends in their own right, paying tribute to Paul Simon, is what dreams are made of. It was a live taping and some needed to do their pieces more than once. They were so incredibly gracious and we the audience were treated to the best kind of do-over. Please put me on the list for every Grammy tribute to a music great! I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
