HOBO and the Boys absolutely killed it. BABYJAKE opened with great energy and a killer vibe. HOBO brought it home with over an hour of honest loud heartfelt music.
I love how authentic he was on stage! Always kept the crowd hyped up, and had some amazing visuals (the lighting). I hope he comes to play again around New England, I would love to go to another one of his shows!
His music reverberated into my soul lol. But for real, Hobo Johnson and the lovemakers have unreal energy on stage and create such a sick enviornment. Hear your favorite songs and rock out as Frank gives some metal performaces. 20/10 would go again
We were really impressed with the venue as well as the artists themselves. Everything was clean, and entry was seamless. We really enjoyed ourselves
I loved this show, it was my first ever concert, and i was super happy that I can say hobo johnson was the first. Frank is an incredible performer, and knows how to work crowd. I left covered un water he was thrwing into the audiencen, and with a guitar pick, that was thrown at me. Can't wait to see him again
This was my first ever concert. BabyJake and Remo Drive were amazing opening acts! Made me love there songs even more. Hobo Johnson & The Lovermakers were more than I could have ever expected. I can’t wait for them to come back. Every section was full of amazing songs, great lighting and production, and hilarious banter between the artists and the crowd.
Love the intimate setting at Irving Plaza. I wasn’t too familiar with the opening acts(Baby Jake and Remo Drive), But they both put on great sets! Once Hobo Johnson came on stage it was a nonstop party! He put On a fantastic show that did not disappoint!
I loved Baby Jake and his humor in his set. Remo Drive was great and they are so sweet if you get a chance to chat with them. I am glad I got to see Jack and Jordan this time around and Hobo finally did typical story and it was amazing. ONLY ISSUES were with the venue and Live Nation. I purchased a pre-show ticket which was supposed to include access to food and drink on an outdoor patio before doors opening. There wasn't anything set up for purchase outside and we could not get anything inside because they were not set up until 7 pm. I have been trying to get an explanation or refund and the online customer service is not helpful or understanding at ALL. They advertised something, did not deliver, and have not tried to rectify the situation.

This is my third time seeing Hobo Johnson and the Lovemakers, and this show exceeded expectations as always. They always put on a great performance and know how to work a crowd. They also have the best fans - kind, giving, considerate, people who are great to watch a show with. Lastly, these guys give so much of themselves before and after their shows, and can always be found for a souvenir selfie and autograph. I brought my 11 yo son this time, who is also a huge fan and he had the greatest time.
Hobo Johnson and the Lovemakers put on a great show! They brought the energy to get the crowd excited, and the band sounded really good together. I definitely look forward to seeing them again on their next tour!

The band has a small, but definitely loyal following. They knew every word to most of his songs, and sang along. Frank had a great time bantering with the audience, while cranking out 19 songs as the headliner. Love the new Emo's location, great sound system, plenty of bars, lots of space.
Where do I even start?! I saw Hobo Johnson + The Lovemakers in Dallas and they were amazing! Frank is so endearing and charming irl. He was super interactive with audience and his band mates and he made everyone feel so involved and hype!! His voice is even better live and the setlist was awesome! At the end everyone chanted for the band to come back out for one more song and they did!!! I screamed so much I STILL sound raspy!!! Love you Frank!!!
Probably one of the best shows with so much hype from the crowd loving a supporting a small artist. Definitely will attend next time in Dallas!
Frank knows how to entertain a crowd, We have seen him three times, twice at the Van Buren. He is a blast DO NOT miss a chance to see him when he is in your town!! He is real, raw and connects with everyone in the room. Thank you for another great night Hobo Johnson & the lovemakers!!
The Van Buren is a great venue. Hobo Johnson was awesome. Really enjoyed hearing some new songs. Of course, his older music is still great. He always puts on a super show
i’ve been wanting to see hobo johnson since i was in eighth grade (i’m now graduated from high school) and it was an amazing experience and i loved every second. i even drove four and a half hours for it
