HOB Murder Mystery Dinner Tickets

Very disappointed in this show. Was expecting better. Food wasn’t that good and only served water and tea. You had to purchase Pepsi and the bar for $5 a cup.

We had a lot of fun! Would definitely do it again! Thank you to all the actors who brought us such an entertaining evening.

I’ve been to a few murder mysteries, this was my least favorite sadly. I had high hopes for the price and the venue being an entertainment venue, as well has having a restaurant on site we thought the food would be better. Our chicken was under cooked still pink with no flavor. We let the staff know but there’s was no apology they brought out another plate i’d assume had been sitting because it was cold and dry. I’d suggesting eating elsewhere. The bartender was inexperienced and should have probably measured his shots they were very short for a mixed drink (maybe a 3 sec pour) $32 for two margaritas. I also think he forgot the Grand Marnier that was listed on the drink menu of included ingredients. I did ask other customers at my table how their drinks were and they said they wouldn’t be ordering another. The mystery itself was not very interactive, other places leave clues for you to find with black light etc.Tthey have just scan QR codes to solve one riddle. They need more going on to not make it so obvious who the “murderer” was. It’s more of a riddle show than interactive mystery. I’m a local looking for something we can continue to have date nights to but this won’t be one of them unfortunately.

It was great...a little to evident to who did it. The cast was fun! Drink line way to long.

We had a blast. Fantastic food and good times. I got a shout out for my Nick name. And was at the table with the killer! Staff was awesome. We had drinks, bought shirts and books in gift shop at a discount with tickets. Thank you for a great time!

I paid $150.00 for the two of us (this price doesn't include the over priced drinks). The food was average as was the service and "entertainment". At $50 p.p. I may do it again-one day, but at $75, I'd rather spend my money on sonething more enjoyable, i.e. Time Warp at the Carolina Opry.

We enjoyed our evening at the murder mystery. It was a lot of fun and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend it.

The MC did not ask people to be quiet when he gave dinner info or mystery details. Same with detective. The story was disjointed. Poorly done.

Food and place was good. Entertainment was also very good.

I was looking for some action. It was too much laughing and joking around. I thought it should have been more serious. The food was ok. My potatoes were dry. I give my overall experience a 3.5

We had been to the House of Blues for their Sunday morning Gospel Brunch once and it was amazing! Great food and talented singers. But the Murder Mystery Dinner was just ok. The mystery part was fun and the actors were entertaining, but the food was severely sub-par. The salad looked like they prepped it the day before, the chicken was just ok, the carrots were undercooked, and the mashed potatoes were so dry they crumbled. The best part of the food was the dessert. I would try again to see if it was just that evening of bad food, but for the price I feel they should be a little more attentive to the quality of what they send out of the kitchen.

The performance was overall fine enough. It did make me laugh. However, the dinner could be a lot better considering the price of the ticket. 2 members of my family of 4 were served undercooked chicken. We asked for another plate and the new chicken was still undercooked. Also, think twice about the seating. You are seated with other people which it states and that was the chance that we took. But it did not go very well for my table. And I will leave it at that. So either come with 9-10 people to fill a table or be ready to take the chance.

My family and I had a fantastic time. The host was so friendly and fun. The food was good and the actors were talented!! We had a great time trying to figure it out and got involved with the actors. And I win the most creative and closest to being accurate answer!! Super sleuth 😄

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience! Well worth the money. Acting was good, food good, venue was great. Book it!

The room was extremely small for over 100 people, which made it extremely loud and hard to hear clues and details of the mystery. Acting was extremely cheesy and everyone talked very fast. Bathrooms were in a bad spot. You had to walk across the whole crowd in front of everyone to use the restrooms. Restrooms were very tiny and hard to maneuver in. Dinner was okay, and not every table got gravy. Our group of eight left there hungry. And the worst part of all was how the mystery ended. The clues were vague and everyone at our table was confused because the answer was so out of pocket.

We all had fun, some entertainment, and a good meal!

My first murder mystery dinner and I was very pleased. The cast kept the attention of the audience and executed a perfect evening.

The mystery was quite fun and a little different than we were expecting but still enjoyable family time. However, my review is to bring notoriety to the chicken dinner. Wow! Some of the reviews I read on-line had me keeping my expectations low but from the salad to the desert the staff didn’t miss a beat and the food was the best we had our 7 days in Myrtle Beach. They have a cash bar and great cocktails but expect to pay top shelf prices. In conclusion; family of 3 with excellent dinner, fun show, 1 cocktail each $256.00 memories~ priceless

This was my second attendance. First one was 10 years ago. Thought it was a little pricey for the amount of food. But overall it was a nice evening. Something different.

The show was not exciting and well thought out. It was not an interactive experience as advertised. The meal was sub par. The room was super hot in temperature, even the host was sweating! Your money would be better spent for a family outing!
