HOB Murder Mystery Dinner Tickets

We had the BEST time! I think it could depend on the people you go with and how you make it. The acting may not have been Oscar worthy but the cast made it fun and seemed like genuinely good people who worked hard to make sure we had a good time. The storyline definitely made you use your brain to figure out the plot of the murder. Food was really good. For us it was worth every penny and we would definitely do this again!

The story line was horrible. There wasn't enough information provided. The ending of the story didn't make any sense. The acting was bad and not even in a funny laughing way. I've been to better. The food was just "OK"the chicken was dry. 10 out of 10 I wouldn't recommend.

More fun than excepted…really made ticket holders act as police officer and actually invoke you in the investigation!!!

We had a great time! Took our kids (12, 12, and 15) and they had a blast too. The crew is funny and the show is interactive. Food is good. The mystery is not super easy to solve but also not impossible either. Great family night out!!

This was a great dinner, the production of the event was spot on, it was fun, witty and entertaining, dinner was great!! I would definitely go again!!

We enjoyed ourselves and had a good time. Food was ok, but the atmosphere was really nice. Will come back to House of Blues again!

I leave this review for improvement since hearing the lead sheriff just took over the gig at our event. Acting was fine and story was fine, just TOO many people so room was LOUD and impossible to hear anything going on. People across from us said they go to these all the time and never saw one like this before. This one they couldn't even follow because of the setting. Drunk table was handled perfect by lead character but other characters involved were all from 1 group of people from same place which was weird. One table got up and left during the performance middle of the night. Dinner was good so that part was worth it. Otherwise, just saw some people dying and some other people stand up and read something I couldn't hear. Had the opportunity to go look at the board to see it all and figure it out for myself but what's the fun of that?

Pay attention to everyone, the dinner was ok but small portions.

Certainly not worth $71. Truly THE WORST acting ever witnessed. Food was minimal and mediocre at best. It was as if a bunch of people got together a day before and decided to “make a show.” If you are in the Myrtle Beach area seeking a dinner show, please invest in the Pirate’s Voyage Dinner Show or go enjoy a nice upscale dinner for the price.

The cast was excellent and really kept the audience involved. They were very accommodating for my handicapped daughter.
