I would say this is one of my top, unforgettable music experiences. The lineup was stacked well with a good mix of new bands and headliners. They had two stages going, which was awesome because you never missed anything. When one band finished, the other was ready to go. It was non-stop music from the beginning to the end. Even the bands you didn't know were well worth your time to be there hearing them. I found quite a few new bands I'm now in love with! The people (attendees and staff) were all on their best behavior and I have no complaints about the venue. They did well with water, restrooms, and beverages. My only complaint was with the food and the fact that the lines were incredibly long. I am well aware of the fact that this is unavoidable with that many people and food cooked to order. I'm complaining but I definitely understand and wouldn't change it. Also, I was turned away the first day for my backpack being too large (which prompted a long walk back to the car) so that didn't help to start things off right, especially after seeing plenty of people with the same size or larger backpacks throughout the weekend. Again, I understand, but consistency is key. Those are literally the only things I can complain about except for the weather (first night was cold, especially in my shorts, which were a bad choice on my part) but that's nobody's fault. I can't go on enough about the choice of bands and the experience as a whole. Even the harbor got in on the fun, sending out some air horn blasts from a passing freighter during Isbell and Shovels & Rope... the bands just played along and waved back! So much fun... I'll be back next year, for sure...
