Fantastic facility. Great action. Highly recommend.
We always enjoy watching the Bears since they are the farm team for the Caps. We have the opportunity to watch the up and coming players. Can't wait to go again.
I went to the game on saturday night.... The Hershey bears played the Scranton Penguins... what a great game... the bears played a great game... with two fights great fights... and the bears won 3 to 1.... The Gaint center is a great staduim... parking is about seven dollars .... it is easy to get there and to park... but when trying to leave it will take awhile....
The game was great! The fans - not so much. I noticed the season ticket holders were very in to game and pride of team, but the crowd was quiet most of the time (except for the fight and the scoring). I go to a lot of Baltimore Orioles games and they Bears win more than them, but the crowds at Orioles games are much louder. I will be going again and hope the crowd is more in to the game.
This was my first hockey game! I would most definately go again!
The Giant Center is a great place to watch a game.
The Calder Cup champion Hershey Bears begin another winning season, and this was the first of many Ws in the win column. I recommend anyone who is a hockey fan to attend this fine venue, and enjoy a great team on the road to another Calder Cup conquest.
Amazing Seats..Thank you!
bears kick ass gordo u rule
Went to the game last night with my husband and our 5 year old. Great game! Hershey Bears fans are the best. Such great crowd support for their team. My son loved it and loved the music, action and of course the souveniers he had to have. Merchandise and food was reasonably priced. Had a great time. Going again in October.
Bears playoff games r always the best!!! If you weren't there u missed out...
The Bears lost the game, but had a chance to clinch a championship with a win. The atmosphere was exciting and special.
When we first got there the whole place was pumped. It was a nice long back and forth matchup. And the best part is the bears WON!!! B E A R S BEARS BEARS BEARS WOOOO!!!!!
Amazing game...poor ref calls...the Bears were denied their Calder Cup Championship on home ice, but it was still an amazing experience to be there. Sat right behind the players bench, nothing beats it!!
It was another great time at the Giant Center. It is a great place to see a hockey game. Do not think that since it is minor league that it anything else but a first class place, which it is. It is as nice and of not better that some of the major league arenas. Game day staff is nice and helpful. There are plenty of food and drink choices. There is not a bad seat in the house. The Bears fans are some of the best in the AHL. Tailing gating in the parking lot is a must.
This event was fantastic. Great seats for the Hershey Bears vs Manitoba Moose Calder Cup Finals game. I'm glad the bears won the cup.
This was a well played, tightly contested game from beginning to end. Michal Neuvirth (the Bears goalie and #1 star) was stellar throughout, making great saves at key moments including during a 6 on 3 penalty kill late in the third period with the Manitoba goalie pulled. Speaking of Manitoba's goalie Cory Schnieder, he was also stellar in defeat. Playoff intensity from the outset, great play from both teams and a photo finish -- what more could anyone ask of hockey game really?
The event was great too bad Hershey didn't win the cup that night!
the game was amazing start to finish. they won what can beat that!
The fans in the Hershey area really love their hockey team and traveling two hours for this game was worth it. I am from northeastern PA and the team around me, the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins have good fans, but Hershey's fans are more into the action and their arena is a lot bigger and nicer also. The Wachovia arena in Wilkes-Barre is nice don't get me wrong, but one can tell that tradition in minor league hockey is what Hershey is all about!
