The puppeteering was remarkable. The improv was ok. A fun show, but maybe a little overpriced. Certainly unique, though

Rating: 3 out of 5by Anonymous on 6/16/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago Rating: 5 out of 5 Title hard to remember though it does tell a story
by Emerof on 6/15/12Bank of America Theatre - ChicagoPuppets became alive as individual personalities, both with the design of the puppet and the voices of the puppeteers. The high energy level of puppeteers should have distracted from personal involvement but did not. The strategic location of the audience's screens made it possible to move attention easily from the puppeteers to the puppets. In fact, the personalities for the puppets were so real that you forgot the puppeteers. The voices, pitch, timber, accents all contributed to the reality if the situations.

Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 6/15/12Bank of America Theatre - Chicago What a fantastic show. I can't believe the talent and quick wit of the artists. I laughed the entire show and enjoyed the improv suggestions given by the audience. It was great seeing the puppets in a grown up setting! A really good time!
Rating: 4 out of 5 SUCH a fun time!
by JJChicago on 6/15/12Bank of America Theatre - ChicagoLoved the show—sooooooo happy I conned a friend into going with me. Worth every second. I laughed. I cackled. I screamed "oh no you didn't." Go see it. Now granted, its improv so if your audience suggestions suck, the show could go south. But I'm pretty sure this crew could handle it. Go!
Rating: 3 out of 5 It would have been better if the sound was clear
by abcd9753 on 6/14/12Bank of America Theatre - ChicagoThe sound in the balcony was terrible. We could only catch about half of what they were saying. I have seen several stage musicals in this same theater sitting up there and never had this problem. I think we would have loved this show if we would have been able to hear what they were saying.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Funny/enjoyable R-rated improv with Muppets
by MuppetsFan on 6/14/12Bank of America Theatre - ChicagoJust like any other improv show - this one just has a few "set" pieces - not every bit hits the mark, but judged with and compared to other improv shows, this one's a hoot. The seasoned puppeteers are also seasoned improv performers: very quick, clever and creative, and fairly scatological senses of humor. They have their puppets do things on stage (based on suggestions from the audience) that would be banned if real people or animals were doing them. Just go with an open mind, leave your sensibilities at home, and be prepared to laugh...and if a bit falls flat just wait for the next one. It's also really interesting to compare what you see on the giant monitors - muppets only - with what you see down below - the performers doing their thing.
Rating: 5 out of 5 stuffed and unstrung hilarious!
by mogopo on 6/14/12Bank of America Theatre - ChicagoFantastic improv show with puppets and their humans. "Behind the scenes" look at what really is happening when puppets are "acting" on the screen. The comedy was so funny....laugh out loud funny. Puppets who swear are funny. Go see it before it leaves town!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Hilarious!
by Stef345 on 6/14/12Bank of America Theatre - ChicagoStuffed and unstrung was so much fun! The performers were incredible. I don't know how they managed to work the puppets and come up with their clever improvisations simultaneously but I was very impressed. The show was 90 minutes but it felt like it flew by. MC and musical director made the transitions seamless. My friends and I highly recommend this show to everyone (over 18). PUPPET UP!
Rating: 3 out of 5 pretty good, but not outstanding
by bert456789 on 6/14/12Bank of America Theatre - ChicagoWe've been seeing a lot of improv comedy lately, so we weren't as impressed by the on-the-spot songs, etc. I think muppets are really fun and funny already, so the fact that they swore and told vulgar jokes didn't appeal to us too much. They were all very talented and it was fun, just not something you need to rush out and see. Also, it seemed really short.
