Band is top notch and full of energy, played over 2 hours without a break. Sound was good. I had trouble figuring out the seating chart from Ticket Master, for example might have liked to sit in the handicap area as husband is somewhat disabled. I was not able to maneuver the seating. It turns out that area was empty as were several other seats that didn't appear to be available at the time of booking.
The Heavy Metal Horns had a reunion show at the Cabot in Beverly on Saturday night. The band was smokin' hot running thru all their hits from the last 30 yrs. Everyone's soloing was over the top virtuosity to a foot stomping rhythm section. One of the Funkiest Fusion Jazz bands I've ever seen. Wish they would do more shows!!!!!!
This performance was amazing, each musician displayed professionalism in each solo and group performance. An incredible show, and grateful we have some of the best around here. Henley Douglas as always provided an amazing performance as always. He never fails to give his all where ever he performs. Thank you Henley!
The venue is just amazing, we love the Cabot Theater. The showmanship, music, choice of music was the best. It was easy to see just how dedicated the group is to entertaining their audience as well as how they enjoy their work. Magic!!!
This event was off the hook!! The sound was fantastic. The band was tight. It was an amazing evening! Not a bad seat in the house. I haven't been to the Cabot in a few years, & this is exactly what I needed! Super stoked that live music is happening again, & I can't wait to go back.
The band was phenomenal!! The horns make a band sound that much better. Everyone was up on their feet dancing. Would definitely see them again

This show was top notch. There was a comedian that opened and he was very funny. Mike Macdonald He used to open for these guys back in the day. He also did a great introduction of the band and then we were off to the races. This was essentially a 30 year anniversary reunion gig. Everyone still has the chops and did not disappoint. I have been seeing this band for almost all of the 30 years. Like fine wine they keep getting better with age. There was no shortage of funk and danceable music this night. The band was very humbled to see the packed house and the energy from the crowd was through the roof. With the two sax attack , trumpet and trombone, you knew that the Horns were definitely in da House. So do yourself a favor and go see these guys play. You will be impressed and wondering why haven’t I seen them before !! I am lucky to call Henley and Garett friends. My wife and I had a great time and I want to thank The Horns for always bringing their A game. Thanks for reading. Live music rules!!
HMH never disappoint and this show was no exception. Danced all night long... SO MUCH FUN!!! Can’t wait till next HMH blowout!
