    Stunning, remarkable, I was mesmerized!

by grgiles on 3/23/14Fisher Theatre - Detroit

So much energy, talent, youth, excitement. I could feel their passion for the message in the dance.! The way they look at the audience, each other, ... I wanted so much to go back, but had to leave town. I would see and pay lots to see this again. I hope they get good audience attendance, because this is not something you can see on film ,TV, etc. You much be there and experience it! My only regret was I did not go back stage to get Jason O'Neill's autograph and picture with him. Other dances/singer it come out and were very gracious to sign program and pictures!

    Not to be missed!!!

    by showgoer888 on 3/23/14Fisher Theatre - Detroit

Heartbeat of Home was a thrilling fusion of Irish dance, Spanish and Afro-Cubano styles. The dancers were amazing with feet flying so fast that it seemed that they were almost moving around the stage on air. The musicians were awesome and the settings breathtaking. We enjoyed every moment of the performance.

    it was ok

    by CelticSoccerMomof2 on 3/23/14Fisher Theatre - Detroit

This version of River Dance lacked the WOW of the original. The formations were not as sharp, the dances were not as exciting and it seemed to drag. The musicians were not as exciting either. It was disappointing.

It was amazing, I saw Riverdance many years ago and this topped it.

    THRILLING!

by dpgdance on 3/21/14Oriental Theater - Chicago

Shall I work backwards....the five minute standing ovation and musical jam session on March 16th in Chicago gave me chills. For any dance lover, this show is a must see! There is a mix of many dance forms in this show, including Irish, tap, jazz, flamingo, hip hop, and others. While I went, expecting primarily an Irish dance show, I came away a beautiful blend of many dance forms, all rooted in spectacular rhythm. Of course, Irish dancing was the primary showcase of the show, which I expected coming from the producers of the famous RIVERDANCE. This show delivered an interesting blend of many dance forms in a seamless and powerful way. The showmanship of the dancers and musicians kept me on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend!

Really enjoyed it. Besides the Irish dancing, also has dances from other countries. Band was amazing. They did a great job of updating the old River Dance.
