I saw Heart twice in the 80's and they were flawless. I am pleased to say they were fabulous on the opening day of the OC Fair. They crowd was an older crowd and quite noticeable, but there were a lot of young folk there, too. I took my younger sister, my niece and her friend who were all in their early 20's and they really enjoyed it. There was a kid next to me around 18, and he was rocking out big time! Heart is absolutely amazing and played all of the top hits, but also mixed in some other old classic rock from The Who, and my favorite of all time, Led Zeppelin. I don't remember them ever doing that before, so that was a nice surprise! Ann Wilson has a powerful voice, and completely captivated the entire crowd, which was a full house. She showed everyone she can still perform and will not miss a note. Nancy used a variety of guitars and really performed for the crowd. She was flawless! I loved it all! They had some new additions to the band and they were amazing, and added to the greatness of it all. When they opened with Barracuda, it was on! The third song was Straight On, which is my favorite, was hot! The crowd went crazy. Nancy did many short solos to start off songs, which was cool. Ann sang her heart out to Going to California and The Immigration Song by Led Zeppelin. She must like them a lot. They had a death of a mom of someone in the bands group, so they sang a new song "Sand" that was touching to Ann, and she shed a tear. Magic Man was the last song, and it was fascinating! Heart is one of my favorite bands of all time. I love your music, keep playing it!
